Jenna Bush Hager<\/strong><\/a> has seen the speculation about why she hasn\u2019t been wearing her wedding ring on Today<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI had a bad wedding ring situation. I\u2019m not wearing one now because I broke my finger,\u201d Bush Hager, 43, shared on the Wednesday, February 26, episode of Today With Jenna & Friends<\/em><\/a> before reassuring fans her relationship with her husband, Henry Hager<\/strong>, is as strong as ever. \u201cDon\u2019t worry. I\u2019ve seen some of the comments. Henry and I are still very happily married.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bush Hager first revealed she broke her finger back in August 2024<\/a>, telling Hoda Kotb<\/strong> at the time that she injured herself after losing her \u201clucky necklace\u201d after losing it in the ocean. \u201cI\u2019ve tripped, I got a black eye, I broke my ring finger,\u201d she said. \u201cHenry claims I just sprained it, but it was blue.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bush Hager has had some other bad luck with her ring finger. On Wednesday, she recalled losing a piece of her engagement ring while celebrating her pal and Today<\/em> colleague Savannah Guthrie<\/strong>\u2019s 50th birthday a few years ago.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tJenna Bush Hager and husband Henry Hager\u2019s bond started with a White House connection \u2014 and their romance is still burning white hot more than a decade later. The former first daughter has her father, President George W. Bush, to thank for her decades-long relationship with Hager, which began in 2004 while Hager was working [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cSometimes, for my best friends\u2019 birthdays, I feel like I really have to give it my all. I gave it my all, like, [I was] one of the last people standing,\u201d Bush Hager recalled. \u201cAnd Henry was kind of grumpy. He went to bed a little earlier, sort of like, \u2018Aren\u2019t you coming with me?\u2019 And I\u2019m like, \u2018No, I\u2019m not coming with you!\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

The next morning, she woke up to discover one of her ring\u2019s gemstones was missing. \u201cI was already a little bit on thin ice for my wild behavior, so I look down and I\u2019m like, \u2018Oh no. Do I tell him this now or do I wait?\u2019\u201d she stated. \u201cI went ahead and just said, \u2018Honey, I know I lost a little bit of dignity last night. I also lost your grandmother\u2019s sapphire.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

When asked by guest cohost Heather McMahan<\/strong> how Hager, 46, took the news, Bush Hager said, \u201cHe was OK. He\u2019s a tolerant person. My mom [Laura Bush<\/strong>] calls him a \u2018saint,\u2019 which is really just saying that I\u2019m difficult to be with. And I never found it again.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bush Hager tied the knot with her husband in 2008. The couple have since welcomed three kids<\/a> \u2014 daughters Mila, 11, and Poppy, 9, and son Hal, 5.<\/p>\n
