Whether he\u2019s happy or sad, Travis Kelce<\/strong><\/a> will always be a Taylor Swift<\/strong><\/a> fan.<\/p>\n The Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 35, discussed how his mood affects his music-listening habits with brother Jason Kelce<\/strong> on their \u201cNew Heights\u201d podcast on Wednesday, February 26. And while Travis said Taylor, 35, makes some great hype music, he also listens to his girlfriend\u2019s tracks when he\u2019s \u201cdepressed.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThe only way to find yourself in the light is to find yourself in the dark first,\u201d he said. \u201cI listen to music that is very telling of my mood \u2014 yes.\u201d<\/p>\n Travis continued, \u201cI just listen to Taylor\u2019s songs. She has something for everything.\u201d<\/p>\n Jason, 37, agreed with his brother, adding, \u201cNo matter what mood, you can find some Taylor music.\u201d<\/p>\n With that said, the retired Philadelphia Eagles player admitted that he prefers to queue up some \u201csad country songs\u201d when he\u2019s in a bad mood.<\/p>\n \u201cNo matter how bad I\u2019m feeling, there\u2019s a country guy who is singing about it and feeling way worse for me, and that gives me joy,\u201d he joked.<\/p>\n It\u2019s certainly not the first time that Travis has discussed his favorite Taylor tracks<\/a>. During a November 2024 podcast episode, he said that \u201cBlank Space\u201d is a song he\u2019ll \u201calways listen to forever,\u201d and he \u201cfell in love\u201d with \u201cDeath by a Thousand Cuts.\u201d He\u2019s also given a shout-out to \u201cCowboy Like Me,\u201d \u201cThe Alchemy\u201d and \u201cSo High School.\u201d<\/p>\n Travis admitted on Wednesday\u2019s podcast episode that he\u2019s been listening to some sadder Taylor songs recently in the wake of the Chiefs\u2019 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in the 2025 Super Bowl on February 9, noting that his brother\u2019s former NFL team \u201cbroke [his] heart.\u201d And it\u2019s not just the pop star\u2019s music helping the footballer cope with the loss, either, as a source told Us Weekly<\/em><\/a> on February 11 that Taylor was being extra supportive of her boyfriend<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cTaylor is supporting Travis during this difficult time and it\u2019s just trying to be there for him as much as possible,\u201d the insider said. \u201cThe game obviously did not go as planned.\u201d<\/p>\n The \u201cCruel Summer\u201d hitmaker was present in a VIP box for the second Super Bowl in a row this year and looked stressed as she watched the Eagles defeat the Chiefs with a score of 40-22.<\/p>\n \u201cWe both love to manifest things, for sure. You can\u2019t say it isn\u2019t real because we are here, right?\u201d Travis said of his girlfriend being there to support him ahead of the game. \u201cWhatever she was doing, it helped.\u201d<\/p>\n
