\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n Madonna<\/strong><\/a> is reminiscing.<\/p>\n The 64-year-old \u201cExpress Yourself\u201d superstar, who is preparing to embark on her Celebration Tour<\/em>, shared her thoughts as she visited her archives, taking photos with some of her iconic outfits and memorabilia in a post shared on Monday (April 24).<\/p>\n While looking at her items, Madonna<\/strong> reminisced about her late mother, who sadly passed away due to breast cancer when the singer was five years old.<\/p>\n \u201cA trip to my archives is always a nostalgic trip down memory lane!\u201d she began.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cIf I think about my journey through music over the last 4 decades\u2014 how could I not think about all the incredible clothes I got to wear and all the amazing designers I was lucky enough to work with!!\u201d she continued.<\/p>\n \u201cWhen I was a little girl I remember my mother was always cold. Partly because she was sick but also because she never had a coat. She always spent what little money we had on our coats and I remember standing outside waiting for the schoolbus With my mother shivering in the cold in the middle of winter!!\u201d Madonna<\/strong> wrote.<\/p>\n \u201cYears later when I became successful my mother\u2019s sister said to me, \u2018Now You can buy all the coats your mother couldn\u2019t buy for herself!\u2019 The journey from the memory of my shivering mother in Winter to me shivering in the over air-conditioned storage space where all my costumes are stored is quite remarkable! I am overwhelmed with gratitude.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cEvery time I put on an incredible coat I think of my Mother.
