Theater legend Patti LuPone<\/strong> does not mince words, especially when she appears as a guest on Watch What Happens Live.<\/em> During a previous stop by Andy Cohen<\/strong>\u2019s talk show, the Beau Is Afraid<\/em> star made headlines for calling Madonna<\/strong> mediocre in the Evita<\/em> movie, famously saying the pop star was a \u201cmovie killer\u201d who \u201ccannot act her way out of a paper bag.\u201d<\/a> \u00a0(LuPone, of course, originated the role on Broadway; she won her first of three Tony Awards for her performance.) This weekend, during her most recent WWHL<\/em> appearance, LuPone set her sights on a different superstar who\u2019s about to grace the screen: Kim Kardashian.<\/strong><\/p>\n During a game called \u201cDo! They! Give a Damn!?\u201d, Cohen asked LuPone and fellow guest John Leguizamo<\/strong> whether they cared about different cultural news items. LuPone didn\u2019t give a damn about Barbra Streisand<\/strong>\u2019s memoir being over 1,000 pages long, nor did she give a damn about Taylor Swift<\/strong> and Joe Alwyn<\/strong>\u2019s recent breakup\u2014but she certainly gave a damn that the second-eldest Kardashian is set to star in the 12th season of Ryan Murphy<\/strong>\u2019s American Horror Story,<\/em> subtitled Delicate<\/em><\/a>.<\/em>\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cYes. I. Do,\u201d said LuPone through gritted teeth when Cohen asked if she gave a damn about Kardashian\u2019s pivot to acting. \u201cYou don\u2019t like it, do you?\u201d Cohen said, in what might have been the understatement of the year. \u201cNo. I. Don\u2019t,\u201d said LuPone, explaining that she feels this way because Kardashian is taking a plum role away from a more deserving actor.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cExcuse me, Kim,<\/em>\u201d LuPone said. \u201cWhat are you doing with your life? Don\u2019t get on the stage, Mrs. Worthington.\u201d Leave it to LuPone to deliver a withering read while referencing a devastating No\u00ebl Coward song<\/a> from the 1930s. Leguizamo backed up LuPone, answering the Kardashian question by pointing to LuPone and stating, \u201cWhatever she said, I double the emotion.\u201d<\/p>\n Perhaps LuPone feels so strongly because she herself starred as cabaret singer Kathy Pizazz in season 11 of Murphy\u2019s American Horror Story,<\/em> subtitled NYC.<\/em> Perhaps she feels so strongly because she\u2019s dead right. In any case, we now know exactly how LuPone feels about both Kardashian\u2019s first lead role and Andrew Lloyd Webber<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s Bad Cinderella<\/em> (for the record, she doesn\u2019t give a damn). Imagine how many more hot takes we\u2019ll get from Miss LuPone once her Oscar campaign for Beau Is Afraid<\/em><\/a> begins in earnest.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
