\t\t<\/p>\n The 2025 SAG Awards<\/strong><\/a> ceremony is happening tonight (Sunday, February 23)!<\/p>\n The Screen Actors Guild Awards honor outstanding performances in film and TV, presented by SAG-AFTRA (Screen Actors Guild \u2013 American Federation of Television and Radio Artists). <\/p>\n These awards specifically recognize actors and ensembles, rather than other aspects of filmmaking like directing or writing.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n They are voted on by actors, and focus on acting only. SAG awards also place special emphasis on ensemble performances, recognizing the collective cast of a film or TV series as a whole.<\/p>\n Since many SAG Award winners often go on to win Oscars, the ceremony is considered a key predictor for the Academy Awards.<\/p>\n The 31st SAG Awards will be streamed live by Netflix<\/strong><\/a> beginning at 8 p.m. ET.<\/p>\n An official pre-show from the red carpet will start at 7 p.m. ET, also on Netflix.
