Gabriel Macht<\/strong><\/a> is opening up about reprising his Suits <\/em>character.<\/p>\n The actor will be returning to the role of Harvey Spector in an upcoming three-episode arc<\/a> on the new spinoff Suits LA<\/strong><\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n While attending the series premiere this week, Gabriel <\/strong>shared that he didn\u2019t immediately jump at the chance to step back into Harvey\u2019s shoes. <\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n \u201c\u2018What, Aaron [Korsh]<\/strong>, what do you want?\u2019\u201d he recalled to EW<\/a><\/em> about the series creator calling to ask him to reprise his role. \u201c\u2018Well \u2026 \u2018 and then his voice gets really soft, \u2018the character of Ted [played by Stephen Amell<\/strong><\/a>], he would\u2019ve been in the attorney\u2019s office with Harvey,\u2019 and he starts telling me the story, and I\u2019m like, \u2018All right, Aaron<\/strong>, I appreciate you calling me and asking me, but I have to think about this. This is a big thing.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI said, \u2018The focus is my family right now, and if we can create a space and an opportunity to do this, I would love to help and pass the metaphorical baton over to Stephen<\/strong> and the rest of the cast, because I believe in you guys, I believe in what you guys are doing, this universe idea sounds great,\u2019\u201d he added. \u201cI said, \u2018Look, if it makes sense, and I can pull it off, let\u2019s discuss.\u2019 And really, it\u2019s my way of going in there and really supporting this new venture \u2014 that\u2019s why I said okay. And he did tell me there\u2019s some really fun bits, and I think we can make it really light and playful, and I think you\u2019ll enjoy it. So that\u2019s why I\u2019m going back: At the end of the day, why are you doing this, Gabriel? I\u2019m doing it for the fans.\u201d<\/p>\n According to Variety<\/a><\/em>, Gabriel<\/strong> hasn\u2019t even filmed his scenes yet, so his episodes will come later in the season. He\u2019s also remaining mum on what fans can expect with his return. <\/p>\n \u201cI can tell you that there\u2019s some flashbacks. There\u2019s a relationship that Harvey and Ted had in the D.A. \u2018s office. And I can tell you that they\u2019re cut from the same [cloth], and they have a deep friendship.
