And are we not <em>all<\/em>, at the end of the day, Henry Cavill fans?<\/p>\n<p>Every now and then, there are little shockers from within the entertainment industry.<\/p>\n<p>The latest is that Amazon is acquiring creative control over the James Bond franchise. That\u2019s a huge deal. People have mixed feelings.<\/p>\n<p>In search of a silver lining, fans are clamoring for positive casting news. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli are longtime Bond producers. He is notoriously good-looking \u2014 and is clearly not one of those actors who gets hot for like three years and then is merely \u201cdistinguished\u201d thereafter. It starred Daniel Craig, who is himself a beloved and extraordinarily talented actor.<\/p>\n<p>Last year, that film\u2019s director Martin Campbell spoke to <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.express.co.uk\/entertainment\/films\/1782718\/Henry-Cavill-James-Bond-audition-Casino-Royale-director-Martin-Campbell\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Express UK<\/a><\/em> and recalled Henry Cavill\u2019s audition: \u201cHe looked great in the audition. His acting was tremendous.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Campbell continued; \u201cAnd look, if Daniel didn\u2019t exist, Henry would have made an excellent Bond. He looked terrific, he was in great physical shape\u2026very handsome, very chiseled. Henry Cavill was born in 1983.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd anything beyond that\u2019s two, three years per Bond,\u201d Campbell reasoned. The director then affirmed: \u201cHe\u2019s in good shape Henry, he\u2019s a good guy. Even comments sections filled almost entirely with heterosexual men tend to remark upon it. But it\u2019s possible that he\u2019ll never play James Bond.<\/p>\n<p>On the plus side, he\u2019ll likely keep playing deeply nerdy roles that he prefers. Isn\u2019t he working on <em>Warhammer <\/em>right now?
