\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n Kelvin Harrison, Jr.<\/strong><\/a> stars as a forgotten musician and composer in Chevalier<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n But instead of being nervous about portraying Chevalier\u2019s master music skills on the big screen, the 28-year-old actor was more anxious about the sex scenes in the movie. <\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Speaking with Entertainment Weekly<\/a>, Kelvin <\/strong>opened up about how he didn\u2019t sweat his scenes showing off Chevalier\u2019s violin skills at all (he\u2019s been trained in that for two decades), it was the intimate scenes where he was hesitant about things.<\/p>\n \u201cAny type of intimacy, being naked in a bed, it always gave me the heebie-jeebies: \u2018What\u2019s this gonna be like and how awkward is this gonna be?\u2019\u201d he recalled. \u201cI\u2019m used to doing indies, and everything\u2019s really rough and raw. You barely have makeup on, and you\u2019re just like a [normal] person.\u201d<\/p>\n However, with this particular flick, which is set in the 18th century, it\u2019s \u201cso pretty, so everyone\u2019s all done up. I remember being like, \u2018Yo, can I just like lay in the bed normal?\u2019 And [director Stephen Williams] was like, \u2018You just need to find the light.\u2019 And so I\u2019m laying on this pillow, acting like I\u2019m an ingenue in this moment with Samara [Weaving] trying to be the prettiest period icon I could be in this sex scene.\u201d<\/p>\n Chevalier<\/em>, which also stars Lucy Boynton<\/strong><\/a>, Samara Weaving<\/strong><\/a>, Minnie Driver<\/strong><\/a>, and Ronke Adekoluejo<\/strong><\/a>, is in theaters now.<\/p>\n <\/span><\/p><\/div>\n
