Change doesn\u2019t have to wait for the new year. Vicki Gunvalson<\/strong> <\/a>exclusively opened up to Us Weekly<\/em> about her 22-pound weight loss with diet and AirSculpt \u2014 and gave a glimpse of her transformation.<\/p>\n The former Real Housewives of Orange County<\/em> <\/a>star, 60, had been working on losing weight when she noticed her cellulite becoming more apparent.<\/p>\n \u201cCellulite appears stronger when you\u2019re getting thinner,\u201d she told Us<\/em> on Tuesday, December 20. \u201cMy butt and my legs were running into the same area. So I was in the Hamptons and I ran into LeeAnne Locken<\/strong> and she looked fabulous. I\u2019m like, \u2018What in the hell did you do?\u2019 She\u2019s like, \u2018I lost weight, and I did AirSculpt.\u2019 I\u2019m like, \u2018Liposuction.\u2019 She goes, \u2018No, AirSculpt.’\u201d<\/p>\n AirSculpt is a body contouring treatment<\/a> available exclusively at Elite Body Sculpture offices. The procedure permanently removes fat and tightens skin while sculpting targeted areas of the body. The minimally invasive process allows for quick healing.<\/p>\n \u201cI lost about 20 pounds from my heaviest two, three years ago,\u201d she explained, noting that her diet included \u201cintermittent fasting and trying to really limit sugars and things like that.\u201d Still, she wasn\u2019t seeing the results she wanted, so Gunvalson had her buttocks, thighs and cellulite targeted with AirSculpt.<\/p>\n \u201cI was really excited \u2019cause I didn\u2019t have to go under general anesthetic, and they actually cut the bands of the cellulite so they won\u2019t appear anymore,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n The Bravo alum, however, noted that she knew AirSculpt wasn\u2019t a time machine.<\/p>\n \u201cCellulite is these bands that appear and push the skin up and [you] get these dimples. So I\u2019m like, \u2018Well, get \u2019em gone. What can we do?\u2019 And [the doctor said], \u2018I definitely can improve. I\u2019m not gonna put you back to when you were 20.\u2019 So I had a realistic expectation,\u201d she noted.<\/p>\n With no general aesthetic, stitches or pain medication involved, the Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip<\/em><\/a> star was ready to hit BravoCon<\/a> \u2014 which took place in New York City in October \u2014 just three days after the procedure.<\/p>\n Gunvalson is thrilled with her transformation. \u201cI\u2019m approaching three months later, super happy with the results,\u201d she said. \u201cThere\u2019s no bruising after about three weeks and I\u2019ll be in a bathing suit and I\u2019ll do my best to be proud of the results. It\u2019s not perfect, but it\u2019s a whole lot better. And that\u2019s what I needed. It\u2019s a whole lot better without going under the knife.\u201d<\/p>\n The procedure helped the Chicago native hit her goal weight.<\/p>\n \u201cI lost seven pounds from my two-week checkup to my three-month checkup, but overall I\u2019ve lost about 22 pounds from my heaviest about a year ago,\u201d she said. \u201cI\u2019m a size 4\/6 and I\u2019m 5\u20198, so I don\u2019t wanna be a size 1 or 2. I\u2019m a big girl. I love to cook. I love to eat. But I do one meal a day and that intermittent fasting really helped me.\u201d<\/p>\n
