RHOBH\u00a0<\/em>alum shared that she doesn\u2019t consider herself a \u201cfashion girly\u201d she decided to accept the invitation.<\/p>\n\u201cSo I get invited. I land at 5:30 p.m. I get to the hotel at 7 and I\u2019m supposed to be at the [Hotel] Plaza Ath\u00e9n\u00e9e at 7:30,\u201d she recalled. \u201cSo I\u2019m getting ready really fast.\u201d<\/p>\n
While under the time crunch, Kung Minkoff had to \u201crush off\u201d to meet her friend and others who came with them on the trip. As the group arrived at their destination, Kung Minkoff noticed that Rinna, 61, was in attendance as well.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m like \u2018Grab me, oh my God, Lisa Rinna is here.\u2019 And we\u2019re in a small room, it\u2019s a small thing,\u201d she reflected, explaining there were maybe \u201c40 people\u201d there in total.<\/p>\n
Since it was a small affair, Kung Minkoff and Rinna both knew that there was no way to avoid each other. While Kung Minkoff didn\u2019t want to go into details, she shared that the exchange was \u201ca very nice thing.\u201d<\/p>\n
\n<\/blockquote>\n\u201cWe walked in with it not expecting to be a good exchange, I will say that. We were not in a good place,\u201d she said. \u201cBut she wanted to make it good and I appreciated that. She came right up to me.\u201d<\/p>\n
Kung Minkoff joked that she was ready to be \u201ctough\u201d when Rinna approached her. However, the actress surprised her with her \u201cintention\u201d for the pair to \u201chave a good time together.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cIt was actually very cathartic. She expressed a lot of stuff, a lot of apologies,\u201d she said. \u201cI apologized for all the stuff we said under the veil of negative Housewife energy that \u2014 we would\u2019ve never been like that.\u201d<\/p>\n
