Real Housewives of New Jersey <\/span><\/i><\/a>star Gia Giudice<\/strong><\/a> shut down rumors that she told her uncle Joe Gorga<\/a><\/strong> to leave his wife, Melissa Gorga<\/strong><\/a>, amid cheating rumors<\/a> surrounding the <\/span>Love, Italian Style <\/span><\/i>author.<\/span><\/p>\n Joe, 43, reportedly claimed in a confessional during the upcoming season 13 reunion<\/a> that his niece, 22, called him trying to convince him to divorce Melissa, 44, after cheating allegations were revealed.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cBasically she called him one or two days before Teresa [Giudice\u2019s] wedding \u2026 and she said, \u2018leave Melissa,\u2019\u201d according to the \u201c<\/a>AllAboutTHR\u201d podcast<\/a>. \u201cThat\u2019s what Gia allegedly did, according to Joe. Andy [Cohen] calls Gia to ask her about this huge accusation, so this is gonna be on the season finale.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The podcasters went on to say that \u201cGia denies ever saying that.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cShe says that she did call Joe Gorga. But she begged him to come to Teresa\u2019s wedding,\u201d they added. \u201cShe swears on her Nonno and Nonna that she never once told her uncle that he should leave Melissa. She was making out with another guy.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n The accusations come amid ongoing drama between the Gorgas and the Giudice women which resulted in Joe and Melissa skipping his sister, Teresa Giudice<\/strong><\/a>, and Luis Ruelas<\/strong><\/a> August 2022 wedding<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cHow can I celebrate someone else\u2019s marriage when they are constantly trying to destroy mine?\u201d Melissa asked during the <\/span>RHONJ<\/span><\/i> midseason 13 trailer<\/a>, released in April 2023.
