Baylee Littrell<\/strong> isn\u2019t playing games when it comes to his experience on American Idol<\/i><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Backstreet Boys member Brian Littrell<\/strong> confirmed his son<\/a> will be auditioning for season 23<\/a> of the singing competition show, premiering on ABC Sunday, March 9.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s actually on the new American Idol<\/i> this season, which is a little caveat of information,\u201d Brian shared with Today.com<\/a> in February. \u201cHe was just texting me last night, going, \u2018Dad, dude, how do you do this? Like, it\u2019s hard work.\u2019 He\u2019s been busting his butt, and I\u2019m super proud of him. He kind of gets a new sense of reality of what this is.\u201d<\/p>\n

While Brian can\u2019t share details about his son\u2019s experience in front of judges Carrie Underwood<\/strong>, Luke Bryan<\/strong> and Lionel Richie<\/strong>, Baylee recently teased what\u2019s to come on the ABC reality show.<\/p>\n

Long before competing on American Idol<\/i>, Baylee had the opportunity to make his Broadway debut at just 13 years old. Brian\u2019s only child was a featured actor in the 2016 production of Disaster!, <\/i>which also starred Rent <\/i>alum Adam Pascal<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am extremely proud of our son\u2019s Broadway debut and the young man he is becoming! Not only because of how talented he truly is, but for his work ethic as well,\u201d Brian told E! News<\/a> at the time. \u201cBaylee has spent the majority of his life on the road which has proven to better prepare him for life both on and off the stage.\u201d<\/p>\n

When he was a kid, Baylee had the opportunity to go on the road with BSB and introduce them before shows.<\/p>\n

\u201cI got to introduce my dad at 5 years old,\u201d Baylee told People<\/i><\/a> in 2023. \u201cAnd then when I was 10, I started opening up for them. I would sing two or three songs before the opener would come out and play their set. And then that transcended into 2019, being able to go on a 42-show run with them and be the official opening act. That was the experience of a lifetime.\u201d<\/p>\n

Despite having a famous father who continues to perform with BSB, Baylee said he is paying his dues and finding success with his own hard work.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou do get your foot in the door when your dad\u2019s a Backstreet Boy, but also it\u2019s been just as hard to make it as it has been a blessing because some people won\u2019t even give me a chance because of who my dad is,\u201d Baylee told E! News<\/a> in September 2022. \u201cI have something to offer. I\u2019ve been busting my butt for almost five years and I\u2019ve been trying to make an impact.\u201d<\/p>\n

Baylee Has Collaborated With Florida Georgia Line\u2019s Tyler Hubbard<\/b><\/h3>\n

Before Baylee released his debut album, 770-Country<\/i>, in 2019, the singer had the opportunity to record tracks by Hubbard.<\/p>\n
