\t\t<\/p>\n Dexter: Original Sin<\/strong><\/a><\/em> Season 1 has come to an end this weekend.<\/p>\n The Paramount+<\/strong><\/a> TV show follows Dexter<\/em><\/strong><\/a>\u2018s titular character in his youth (played by Patrick Gibson<\/strong><\/a>), from his first kill to his early days with the Miami Metro Police, trying to find a balance between following the rules that his father Harry (Christian Slater<\/strong><\/a>) has set out for him and satisfying his killer urges.<\/p>\n Of course, fans are eager to know if the prequel series will be extending into another season.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n As of right now, Dexter: Original Sin<\/em> has not yet been renewed for Season 2.<\/strong><\/p>\n Showrunner Clyde Phillips <\/strong>has already expressed an interest in making another season, as has Patrick Gibson<\/strong>, who said he\u2019d be \u201cso lucky\u201d to return if he could, via Yahoo UK<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cI would love to. I had such a great time doing this and everybody involved is so incredible, to have Clyde<\/strong>, the original showrunner, involved and still doing it, and the cast was also great that I would feel so, so lucky to come back again,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n \u201cSomething that I\u2019d like to see\u2026 well, this series feels kind of like a pilot series, a lot of stuff is getting set up and he\u2019s learning from the very beginning of his first kill. And so I\u2019m curious to see him start to become a little bit more confident with his methods [and] take bigger swings, but that also might come with harder lessons. I think the stakes just get higher and higher with this show, naturally, and so that\u2019s been really interesting to see. And also some characters that we haven\u2019t got to meet yet from the original would be cool,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n If you didn\u2019t know, there\u2019s also a Dexter<\/em> sequel series in the works with some exciting stars in the cast.<\/a><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p><\/div>\n
