The Love Is Blind <\/i><\/a>pods are moving to the Twin Cities for season 8.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis Valentine\u2019s Day 2025 will mark the five-year anniversary of the premiere of Love Is Blind <\/i>and it will be the launch of season 8,\u201d cohost Vanessa Lachey<\/strong> said during the season 7 reunion special<\/a>, which hit Netflix in October 2024. \u201c[It] takes place in Minneapolis! Here to kick off that season, we have three of the season 8 participants in the audience here.\u201d<\/p>\n

New cast members Alex, Brittany <\/strong>and Joey<\/strong> were then shown in the audience.<\/p>\n

Love Is Blind <\/i>season 1 debuted on Netflix in 2020, introducing the revolutionary dating experiment<\/a> in which a group of singles attempt to meet their dream partner sight unseen in just 10 days. Pairs will only meet in person after getting engaged in the pods.<\/p>\n

After seven seasons, the Love Is Blind <\/i>has been proven to be a success with 11 couples still married<\/a>. Season 4 alums Bliss Poureetezadi-Goytowski<\/strong> and Zack Goytowski<\/strong>, as well as season 3 favorites Alexa<\/strong> and Brennon Lemieux<\/strong> have welcomed babies, daughters Galileo and Vienna, respectively. Two of the men, Alex and Joey, sat beside female participant Brittany during the season 7 reunion.<\/p>\n

\u201cI personally just prioritized other things in my life and work and friends and travel,\u201d Alex said of his decision to apply for the experiment. \u201cIt\u2019s such a small community. It\u2019s not, like, a major city, but it\u2019s also not a small town so you kind of see the same people over and over and it\u2019s a small bar scene. I just never found the right person that clicked for me, but I\u2019m excited to be here.\u201d<\/p>\n
