Love Is Blind<\/em><\/a> star Mason Horacek<\/strong> revealed that being cast in season 8 helped him find the answer to a big decision.<\/p>\n \u201cSo is this the real reason why you moved to [Minnesota]?\u201d an Instagram user asked in the comments of one of Mason\u2019s posts.<\/p>\n He replied<\/a>, \u201cIt definitely sped up the process.\u201d<\/p>\n Season 8 was filmed in March 2024 and the cast all hail from the Minneapolis area. Mason, 33, was one of the 32 men and women<\/a> cast in the newest eason, even though his time on the show didn\u2019t end with an engagement<\/a>. In his Love Is Blind<\/em> bio<\/a>, Mason said that his friends and family would \u201clovingly describe him as a \u2018big softie.\u2019\u201d He also revealed that he works as a cinematographer, and because of that he\u2019s \u201cused to relying on his visual instincts.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cHis biggest accomplishment is making a living in a creative career he loves, and he\u2019s looking for that same passion and drive in a potential partner,\u201d the bio continued. \u201cA skater girl would be particularly rad, as Mason shreds whenever he gets the chance, even sneaking in skating sessions before work. In fact, he\u2019s so committed to the sport that he once went through an entire workday with a broken foot.\u201d<\/p>\n Fans saw Mason connect with two women during his time in the pods \u2013 Meg Fink<\/strong> and Madison Errichiello<\/strong>. While Meg, 31, seemed all in on Mason, Madison, 28, was struggling to choose between him and fellow contestant Alex Brown<\/strong>.<\/p>\n \u201cThese past few dates have been really clarifying for me,\u201d Madison told Alex, 28, during Love Is Blind<\/em> season 8 episode 3. \u201cThere\u2019s one other person that I\u2019ve been dating, and I know there\u2019s another girl dating him, and I just haven\u2019t even been upset at all.\u201d<\/p>\n Even though Mason told Madison that she was one he was \u201calways thinking about,\u201d but unbeknownst to him at the time, it wasn\u2019t enough for her.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m having feelings for people I\u2019ve never seen before,\u201d he told producers. \u201cIt\u2019s really scary how much chemistry there is when Madison and I are talking, but Meg just says exactly what I was about to say \u2026 it doesn\u2019t feel real. It\u2019s really weird to have a connection that deep and close.\u201d<\/p>\n On their next date, Madison broke it off and she later explained to Meg that she felt like Mason was essentially stringing them both along with his \u201cindecisiveness.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cYesterday, he was like, \u2018I\u2019m committed to you,\u201d and today for him to be like, \u2018I take that back \u2026\u2019 Based on what he told me, I don\u2019t think you\u2019ll be impressed,\u201d Madison told Meg while sitting in the women\u2019s quarters. \u201cHe just could not decide which direction to go, and I chose quicker than he did.\u201d<\/p>\n Ultimately, Meg felt like she was Mason\u2019s second choice, and she broke up with him, too. However, fans can\u2019t rule out Mason ending up with someone from the cast just yet.
