Lee<\/strong>) died during the massive multi-dojo brawl at the Sekai Taikai in the final moments of season 6 part 2.<\/p>\n In the chaos of the skirmish, Kwon found a knife dropped at the edge of the mat by Sensei John Kreese (Martin Kove<\/strong>) and pocketed it before returning to a fight with Iron Dragons dojo member Axel Kova\u010devi\u0107 (Patrick Luwis<\/strong>). He attempted to kill Axel with the knife, but Axel kicked Kwon\u2019s foot as he was in the air, which caused Kwon to land directly on the knife. Kwon\u2019s body was turned over to reveal the knife sticking out of his chest and blood pooling around him, with the entire tragic moment live-streamed to the world.<\/p>\n Though some fans hoped that Kwon would somehow return alive and well in the new episodes, his death was confirmed when he was laid to rest at the beginning of part 3. The opening of episode 11 cut between a scene of the teen\u2019s burial and a tense conversation between Kreese and Sensei Kim Da-Eun (Alicia Hannah-Kim<\/strong>).<\/p>\n \u201cWhat about his family?\u201d Kreese asked, to which Da-Eun responded, \u201cHe did not have one.
