Travis Kelce<\/strong><\/a> and Patrick Mahomes<\/strong><\/a> have one of the most enviable bromances on and off the sports field \u2013 and now, a hot mic moment has emerged to show just how close they really are.<\/p>\n

A clip of a sweet moment between Kelce, 35, and Mahomes, 29, was posted via X<\/a> by the NFL\u2019s official account on Thursday, February 13 and captioned, \u201cIt\u2019s a brotherhood.\u201d<\/p>\n

The footage was captured following the Kansas City Chiefs loss<\/a> to the Philadelphia Eagles at the Super Bowl in New Orleans on Sunday, February 9.<\/p>\n

The Chiefs lost 40-22 to the Eagles and despite the defeat, the teammates clearly didn\u2019t let the result affect their friendship.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tPatrick Mahomes is weighing in on teammate Travis Kelce\u2019s future with the Kansas City Chiefs. \u201cI\u2019ll let Travis make that decision on his own,\u201d Mahomes, 29, responded when asked his thoughts on whether Kelce, 35, will play another NFL season next year, following the Chiefs\u2019 Super Bowl loss against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, February [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

In the footage, Mahomes can be seen walking over to Kelce and telling him, \u201cLove you brother,\u201d before hugging him.<\/p>\n

\u201cForever dawg. You know that,\u201d Kelce responds, adding, \u201cI owe you a lot for what you\u2019ve done.\u201d<\/p>\n

Rumors are rife that the Super Bowl may have been Kelce\u2019s final professional game, with speculation mounting that the tight end might be considering stepping down to enjoy retirement.<\/p>\n

Mahomes touched on the rumors<\/a> earlier this week, weighing in with his opinion when asked by reporters if Kelce will play another season of NFL.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ll let Travis make that decision on his own,\u201d Mahomes said. \u201cHe\u2019s given so much to this team and to the NFL, and been such a joy not only for me to work with but [for] people to watch.\u201d<\/p>\n

The quarterback added that he thinks Kelce \u201cknows he\u2019s got a lot of football left in him\u201d should he decide to keep playing next season.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut it\u2019s if he wants to put in that grind,\u201d Mahomes said. \u201cIt\u2019s a grind to go out there and play 20 games, whatever it is, and get to the Super Bowl.\u201d<\/p>\n
