Tom Sandoval<\/strong><\/a> may not be a Traitor but his fellow contestants still had their suspicions about his behavior on season 3 of The Traitors<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

The season started with Sandoval asking to be a Faithful \u2014 to the surprise of Us<\/em> and fellow viewers. Sandoval was still hit with digs<\/a> about his controversial past when host Alan Cumming<\/strong> notably told him, \u201cWould you feel I\u2019d betrayed you, Tom. Doesn\u2019t feel so good, does it?\u201d<\/p>\n

Sandoval\u2019s tumultuous time continued with offscreen memes about his notable sweat stains and some shade from his costars<\/a> about his ability to play the game.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s terrible. To be honest with you, there was no other reason for him saying my name,\u201d Chrishell Stause<\/strong> exclusively told Us Weekly in January 2025. \u201cHe just said it so blatantly that he knew I was a Traitor. Of course he\u2019s going to act like, \u2018Oh, I really was just playing the game.\u2019 To me, it felt personal and you probably can\u2019t change your mind at this point.\u201d<\/p>\n

Chrishell, who noted on the show that she\u2019s friends with his ex Ariana Madix<\/strong><\/a>, added that she didn\u2019t ask Ariana for advice about dealing with Sandoval.<\/p>\n

Once filming wrapped in 2024, Chrishell Stause<\/strong> shared a series of promotional photos of all her fellow<\/a> contestants \u2014 except Sandoval. The audience got more insight into their issues when The Traitors<\/em> showed Sandoval accusing Chrishell of not being a Faithful despite no evidence to support his theory. The pair faced off at the first roundtable banishment meeting where Chrishell claimed Sandoval only named her because she\u2019s close with Ariana.<\/p>\n

\u201cI thought it was ridiculous,\u201d Chrishell exclusively told Us Weekly<\/em> in January 2025. \u201cI just felt like of all the people and all the minds at this table, do we really think Sandoval solved the puzzle in 0.5 seconds of leaving the room? No.\u201d<\/p>\n

Chrishell noted that Sandoval\u2019s decision to name her right off the bat \u201cworked\u201d in her favor<\/a>, adding, \u201cI felt like he was so loud and so wrong. It really felt like whoever he says [the Traitor] is, we probably know it isn\u2019t. So I think it helped in my case, to be honest.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cTom would look at me all the time. Tom was following me around the castle,\u201d Jeremy told Us<\/em> in January 2025. \u201cI said, \u2018Tom, I\u2019m not a Traitor. Why do you think I am a Traitor?\u2019 He replied, \u2018Because you said you were nervous.\u2019 I said, \u2018You\u2019re not nervous? If you\u2019re not a Traitor, you can die. You should be nervous.\u2019 But Tom is Tom. I thought, \u2018I\u2019m going to put a bell on this dude so I know when he\u2019s coming.’\u201d<\/p>\n

During an interview with Parade<\/em> in January 2025, Wells poked fun at Sandoval\u2019s swearing. g, \u201cWatching it back, I was like, \u2018Man, he\u2019s got two faucets just running at full steam.\u2019 I wish I clocked [his sweat stains], because then I could have been like, \u2018You\u2019re a Traitor because you\u2019re sweating a lot,\u2019\u201d he said. \u201cAnd then I probably wouldn\u2019t be banished on the second episode. It\u2019s a calamity of errors on my part.\u201d<\/p>\n

After more episodes aired, Wells told Us<\/em> that he doesn\u2019t understand Sandoval\u2019s gameplay \u2014 but he can give him props for making good TV. \u201cI feel a little bit bad about it because I feel like he\u2019s just being turned into a meme and I don\u2019t know if that\u2019s really necessary. He is television gold though \u2014 you have to give it to the guy. Like, he is so good at whatever he\u2019s doing. I don\u2019t even know what it is, but whatever he is doing, he\u2019s very good at it,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Peacock fans noticed an Instagram interaction<\/a> between Britney Spears<\/strong>\u2019 ex and Real Housewives of Dubai<\/em>\u2019s Chanel Ayan<\/strong> about Sandoval.<\/p>\n

\u201cOmg how cute and I thought at some point you might have been a traitor \ud83d\ude02,\u201d Ayan wrote, to which Sam replied, \u201c@chanelayan never. I would be sweating like that other guy \ud83d\ude02.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ayan quipped, \u201c@samasghari oh no that was nasty.\u201d<\/p>\n

In February 2025, Sam looked back at his interactions with Tom.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe second the sweaty guy walked out, I was like, \u2018Wait a minute, I have no idea who [he was],\u2019\u201d Sam said on a February 2025 episode of \u201cThe Viall Files\u201d podcast. \u201cI was like, \u2018Maybe, I\u2019m thankful \u2019cause there\u2019s the antagonist right there.\u2019 And he kept doing things that fit into it. I was like, \u2018Drink some water, relax.\u2019 \u2026 It was really strange, man.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to Sam, Tom was \u201cthe most strangest one\u201d in the Traitors <\/i>castle.<\/p>\n

\u201cI feel bad for him that they edited him the way they did,\u201d Sam added. \u201cIf you know your perception, you man up to it. I don\u2019t know what he did, I don\u2019t follow reality, but people were talking [like] he\u2019s the most hated person.\u201d<\/p>\n
