But yesterday morning she was very sick,\u201d Parisa explained in a confessional. \u201cAnd we found out that she will not be coming back to the house.\u201d<\/p>\n While Beverly\u2019s exit from the show wasn\u2019t further explained during her final episode, she opened up about her decision to leave the competition during the February 11, 2025, episode of the \u201cBachelor Happy Hour\u201d podcas<\/a>t hosted by fellow Bachelor Nation stars Joe Amiable<\/strong> and Serena Pitt<\/strong>.<\/p>\n She first explained that she was \u201chonestly so happy\u201d to have gotten a one-on-one date, adding that she looked forward to getting the opportunity to strengthen her bond with Grant.<\/p>\n \u201cI honestly was so excited, because I\u2019m like, \u2018We\u2019re gonna have the whole day. I\u2019m gonna get to eat, sleep, just relax, no drama. And I take a nap, and I wake up, and my stomach\u2019s hurting,\u201d she said during the podcast episode. \u201cI\u2019m like, OK, maybe I should just go to the bathroom, or the food didn\u2019t sit well. I start throwing up. I\u2019m like, OK, maybe I just need to get it out. So my stomach is continuing to hurt. I\u2019m like in excruciating pain. I\u2019m continuing to throw up. It\u2019s a mess. This goes on for 12 hours.\u201d<\/p>\n Beverly \u2013 who has been diagnosed with anxiety \u2013 explained that her panic attacks have caused her to vomit in the past, though she knew she was actually sick because she wasn\u2019t feeling anxious.<\/p>\n \u201cI wasn\u2019t sure if it was food poisoning. I thought maybe. And my whole stomach was hurting, so it\u2019s not like one side,\u201d she said. \u201cI didn\u2019t think it was like anything serious. I was like, OK, maybe I\u2019m just in really bad stomach pain. And at this point, because I had gone so long throwing up, I was like, this is probably why my stomach\u2019s hurting even more, because I have nothing in my tummy.\u201d<\/p>\n Production eventually took Beverly to the hospital, where she was given morphine. \u201cThe doctor came in and he\u2019s like, \u2018You have appendicitis and you\u2019re going to need emergency surgery,\u2019\u201d she recalled. \u201cAt that point, I still was not really processing. I am a crier. I am emotional. Did not cry one time. I was like, \u2018OK, like my family isn\u2019t here, my friends aren\u2019t here. I\u2019m about to have major surgery on an organ.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n Beverly \u2013 who had her gallbladder removed in 2018 \u2013 said that her dad suggested she fly back home and have the surgery done in New York. \u201cSo yeah, I was really, really sad. Honestly, it took me like a month and a half to recover emotionally,\u201d she said. \u201cPhysically, obviously, I was OK. But emotionally, I was not.
