Jack Schlossberg<\/strong><\/a> is explaining his social media posts.<\/p>\n The 32-year-old grandson of President John F. Kennedy<\/strong> and Jackie Kennedy Onassis<\/strong> deactivated his social media accounts, but made waves with his posts leading up to disappearing from the Internet.<\/p>\n \u201cI think that the internet is a place where it\u2019s difficult to break through,\u201d he began to explain on MSNBC\u2019s The Blueprint with Jen Psaki <\/em>podcast. \u201cEspecially if you\u2019re not saying something that\u2019s controversial, or at least, somehow unexpected. I think that Democrats play that game not as well as we could.\u201d<\/p>\n Previously, Jack<\/strong> caused controversy with his posts, including a time he asked users to compare the attractiveness of his grandmother and Vice President JD Vance<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s wife Usha Vance<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI use my judgment to make posts that I think are funny or silly but have a purpose,\u201d he explained, \u201cto make you think \u2018That guy\u2019s crazy. Why is he talking about his own family that way?\u2019 Then, you get all these retweets and quotes and everybody flips out about it. I think that that\u2019s the game that the other side has been playing really well, which is flipping people out and getting a reaction.\u201d <\/p>\n Getting that attention is \u201calmost half the battle,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n He also claimed to be Justin Baldoni<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s lawyer amid the actor\u2019s ongoing lawsuit with It Ends With Us<\/em> costar Blake Lively<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cIt just came to me one night,\u201d Jack <\/strong>explained. \u201cI see everybody arguing online about Justin Baldoni<\/strong> and Blake Lively<\/strong>, two people that otherwise I don\u2019t know anything about or have much invested in. I saw the entire country, seemingly, the entire internet, flipping out over this while I was focused on the change of administration and all the serious things that were going on.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cOur culture is obsessed with certain things,\u201d he continued to explain. \u201cSome are more important than others, you might say. How do you inject yourself and shine a light on that in a way that is totally out of the box?\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI knew no one\u2019s going to remember this in a week,\u201d he went on to say. \u201cEveryone\u2019s going to forget about it because they\u2019ve forgotten about a lot of way more serious things. At first, I was freaked out because everyone was mad. Then, once people started to understand it was a joke or that it was satire, I think people started to understand the game I was playing.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cNot every post is going to be hilarious or risky in some way,\u201d Jack<\/strong> said. \u201cSome of them have to be serious and boring, but they can\u2019t all be serious and boring. It\u2019s very important to switch it up and to take risks because that\u2019s not only entertaining for me as I laugh and post it on my phone but also a good way to signal to people that you\u2019re willing to either fight for them or speak your own mind.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m sorry to everyone I hurt,\u201d he wrote before deleting his accounts at the beginning of February. \u201cI was wrong. I\u2019m deleting all my social media. Forever. It\u2019s been fun.
