Kayla Nicole<\/strong><\/a> is putting her money on ex-boyfriend Travis Kelce\u2019s<\/strong><\/a> Kansas City Chiefs to take home their third Super Bowl ring on Sunday, February 9.<\/p>\n \u201cI have the Chiefs winning. They\u2019re going to win. It\u2019s going to be a three-peat. Patrick Mahomes<\/strong><\/a> is going to get the job done,\u201d Kayla, 33, told Us Weekly<\/em><\/a> during an interview published on Thursday, February 6. \u201cI never, never bet against Patty Mahomes, period.\u201d<\/p>\n The social media influencer added, \u201cI remember specifically when the Patriots were winning year after year, I said the same thing. When the Celtics were doing it. Said the same thing. It just happens. I\u2019m ready to see history be made.\u201d<\/p>\n Her clarification about Travis, 35, and Patrick, 29, winning the big game came after she seemingly implied she was rooting for the Philadelphia Eagles this year.<\/p>\n During an episode of \u201cI Am Athlete Daily<\/a>\u201d on January 20, Kayla said that she was hoping to see the Buffalo Bills\u2019 Josh Allen<\/strong> \u201cpull it off\u201d in a win against the Chiefs during the AFC Championship because she was \u201cbored.\u201d However, Kayla admitted that \u201cas much as [she] would love to see somebody else in the Super Bowl,\u201d she said, \u201cIt\u2019s not going to happen.\u201d<\/p>\n Kayla dated Travis on and off from 2017 to 2022. They first connected after the Cleveland, Ohio, native broke up with the winner of the reality TV dating show, Catching Kelce. Travis and Kayla split for the first time in August 2020 after rumors began swirling that he had been unfaithful, but by November of that same year, they had reunited.<\/p>\n After Kayla and Travis broke up for good in 2022, the \u201cNew Heights\u201d host began dating Taylor Swift<\/strong><\/a> the following year. The sports commentator has spoken openly about her past relationship with Travis, which, in turn, has gotten her some hate<\/a> from the \u201cBlank Space\u201d singer\u2019s dedicated fanbase.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019d be lying if I said that that level of hate and just, like, online chaos<\/a>, doesn\u2019t impact me. It does, even to this day,\u201d Kayla told \u201cUnapologetically Angel<\/a>\u201d host Angel Reese<\/strong> during an October 10, 2024, episode. \u201cYou can go to my recent post and it will be people debating each other why I am worthless and I\u2019ll never be a talented person and I have no career.\u201d<\/p>\n She continued, \u201cI think there\u2019s something about that level of fame that attracts crazy people, and it\u2019s unfortunate because I\u2019ve never done anything to warrant that kind of backlash.\u201d<\/p>\n Kayla also revealed that she and Travis don\u2019t really communicate anymore, and part of the reason is because of the amount of publicity surrounding his relationship with Taylor, 35.<\/p>\n \u201cI think that we\u2019re both aware of the nature of his new situation [and] there\u2019s just no room for us to communicate or acknowledge each other publicly without it being spun into something crazy,\u201d Kayla explained. \u201cHe\u2019s a great guy and that was a good time in my life. So many lessons learned, but that\u2019s with every relationship. I\u2019ve learned a ton from every relationship I\u2019ve been in.\u201d<\/p>\n
