Lamar Odom<\/strong><\/a> and Khlo\u00e9 Kardashian<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s onscreen reunion was even more awkward than expected.<\/p>\n

During the Thursday, February 6, episode of Hulu\u2019s The Kardashians<\/em><\/a>, Khlo\u00e9, 40, reflected on her tumultuous marriage to Lamar, 45, after he briefly crossed paths with her friend Malika Haqq.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cLamar was and is definitely someone that I felt was the love of my life,\u201d Khlo\u00e9 told the cameras. \u201cI got married when I was 24 and although him and I got married 30 days to the day we met, I loved him with all of my heart and soul.\u201d<\/p>\n

Khlo\u00e9 recalled putting everything into<\/a> her relationship with Lamar, adding, \u201cI took my vows very seriously and I was married for about seven years. But there were bigger things that were not fixable in that marriage. So the last time I saw him was in 2016.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tBefore Kim Kardashian\u2019s 72-day marriage to Kris Humphries, there was Khlo\u00e9 Kardashian\u2019s nine-day engagement to Lamar Odom. In November 2009, season 4 of Keeping Up With the Kardashians premiered with a very special episode titled \u201cThe Wedding,\u201d which squeezed almost all of Khlo\u00e9 and Lamar\u2019s courtship into a tight 90 minutes. Khlo\u00e9 introduced Lamar to [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Khlo\u00e9 and Lamar dated for one month before getting engaged in 2009. They got married later that year and Khlo\u00e9 filed for divorce four years later. Khlo\u00e9 later postponed her court motion after Lamar \u2014 who was struggling with substance abuse during part of their marriage \u2014 was left comatose following an overdose<\/a> at a legal brothel in Nevada. Khlo\u00e9 served as Lamar\u2019s caretaker while he recovered before refiling for divorce in May 2016, which was finalized seven months later.<\/p>\n

\u201cI feel bad and wish he would get his life together. But then I remember this isn\u2019t my world anymore,\u201d Khlo\u00e9 noted. \u201cI don\u2019t know if I could even put into words what I felt for Lamar. That was some of the most special and magical time of my life. It felt like the purest love I have ever had. Although there was so much darkness in that marriage, there was the brightest of the bright times.\u201d<\/p>\n

During the season 6 premiere, Khlo\u00e9 recalled how she \u201ctook care\u201d of Lamar, explaining, \u201cThen as soon as he was up and able to take care of himself then we had to part ways. It is time to just be done with that chapter.\u201d<\/p>\n

The former couple subsequently had a falling out that lasted \u201cnine years.\u201d<\/a> Khlo\u00e9 said she \u201chad to break contact\u201d after she witnessed Lamar not putting in the work to better himself.<\/p>\n

\u201cLamar was repeating some of the same behaviors that I just couldn\u2019t stand for. I was shocked that he was repeating those behaviors himself while coming out of the whole Vegas accident,\u201d she said in a confessional. \u201cI rented Lamar a house next door to my home. He was staying there with caretakers and rehabilitating. \u2026 I went over and I walked in on Lamar doing things that he shouldn\u2019t have been doing. I was very upset. I haven\u2019t seen Lamar since that day.\u201d<\/p>\n

On the show it\u2019s revealed that Khlo\u00e9 decided to reach out to Lamar \u2014 through Malika \u2014 to return some of his prized possessions. She admitted to Malika, 41, that she didn\u2019t want Lamar to get the wrong idea, which meant putting up some invisible boundaries.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cI am fine but I just don\u2019t want to make this a thing,\u201d she shared. \u201cIt is hot so I would have worn a short tank dress but maybe that is giving too much. So I am in my uniform. I don\u2019t want this to read into anything more.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tIt was pretty much love at first sight when Khlo\u00e9 Kardashian met former NBA player Lamar Odom. The pair tied the knot in September 2009 after just one month of dating, They were in wedded bliss for the next four years \u2014 a journey documented on their hit E! reality series, Khlo\u00e9 & Lamar. Unfortunately, [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Khlo\u00e9 also chose not to tell her family her plans. \u201cThere\u2019s just no feelings,\u201d she revealed. \u201cI want him to have his stuff and that is it. I wish I could do that and not have a conversation.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lamar was ultimately 52 minutes late<\/a> to Malika\u2019s home \u2014 and when he arrived, he had flowers, cake and champagne.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou want to sit this close? How are we going to talk to each other?\u201d she quipped as he struggled to look her in the eye. \u201cDon\u2019t be nervous. I am not going to do or say anything that is scary.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lamar attempted to make a joke, which didn\u2019t land. When Lamar then tried to explain his tardiness by pointing out that he was \u201cout shopping and being thoughtful,\u201d Khlo\u00e9 fired back, \u201cAre you going to talk this low.\u201d<\/p>\n

In a confessional, Khlo\u00e9 admitted their conversation<\/a> felt off.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t know this person anymore. It is just a mindf\u2014,\u201d she shared. \u201cHe is visibly uncomfortable, he is nervous and sweating. I don\u2019t know if he thinks I am going to go off on him. But he just seems scared.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lamar, who was sweating throughout the conversation, ultimately asked Khlo\u00e9 for a hug<\/a>. \u201cI don\u2019t have a lot of emotion for this meeting. I have dealt with so much trauma in this relationship for so many years,\u201d she admitted. \u201cTo learn how to unlove someone, it is almost like a death.\u201d<\/p>\n

While Khlo\u00e9 was saying goodbye to the past, Lamar was reflecting on his mistakes. He even called Khlo\u00e9 his wife, which didn\u2019t sit well with her.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor him to call me his wife, words are empty,\u201d she explained. \u201cWhen it was great, it was spectacular. When it was bad, it was horrific.\u201d<\/p>\n

After ending her marriage to Lamar, Khlo\u00e9 moved on with Tristan Thompson<\/strong><\/a>. The duo expanded their family with daughter True in 2018. Days before her arrival, Tristan, 33, cheated on his then-pregnant girlfriend with multiple women. Khlo\u00e9 and Tristan initially stayed together but split when he kissed her sister Kylie Jenner<\/strong>\u2019s BFF Jordyn Woods<\/strong> in 2019.<\/p>\n

Tristan and Khlo\u00e9 continued to date off-and-on before their son, Tatum, was born via surrogate in 2022. Lamar brought Tatum up during Thursday\u2019s episode of The Kardashians<\/em>.<\/p>\n
