A Grammys executive producer has weighed in on Bianca Censori<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s controversial red carpet appearance<\/a> during the Sunday, February 2, awards.<\/p>\n

Raj Kapoor<\/strong>, who produced Sunday\u2019s telecast, told People<\/em><\/a> in an interview published Tuesday, February 4, that the dress code set by the Recording Academy calls for \u201cartistic black-tie,\u201d but \u201cin the music industry, I guess that\u2019s up for interpretation.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cObviously there is a dress code for anybody actually performing on the show that we have to adhere to standards and practices. But as far as people attending and nominees attending, that would be something the [Recording] Academy would have to answer,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

Kanye West<\/strong><\/a>, 47, and his model wife, 30, turned heads at Sunday\u2019s Grammys<\/a> as she posed on the red carpet in a completely sheer dress. Kapoor told People<\/em> Tuesday that the couple were not assigned seats at the ceremony, where West was nominated for Best Rap Song for \u201cCarnival\u201d from his Vultures 1<\/em> album<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tKanye West and Bianca Censori had all eyes on them during their now-viral moment at the 2025 Grammys \u2014 and they planned it that way. \u201cIt\u2019s all Kanye, there\u2019s no outside influence. \u201cFrom what I understand, they were there for the red carpet,\u201d Kapoor said. \u201cI\u2019m not sure if he was at Pre-Tel, which is at the Peacock Theater before the main show.\u201d<\/p>\n

Although reports initially surfaced that the duo had been kicked out of the event because of the controversial wardrobe choice, a source later confirmed to Us Weekly<\/em> that they had \u201cleft on their own accord.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cHe is a master of publicity stunts,\u201d the insider told Us<\/em>. \u201cHe knows how to stay in the game.\u201d The insider pointed out that West \u201cknows what to do\u201d when it comes to his vision. \u201cHe\u2019s a master. He directs the ship and makes sure everyone knows that.\u201d<\/p>\n
