Love Is Blind<\/em><\/a>\u2019s Jackelina \u201cJackie\u201d Bonds<\/strong><\/a> claimed that Netflix allegedly stopped her from attending the live reunion<\/a> \u2014 and canceled her flight \u2014 due to \u201cmental health\u201d concerns.<\/p>\n \u201c[Netflix] had me talk to a psychologist, and the psychologist was the one that told us that we weren\u2019t gonna go. That was how it went down,\u201d Jackie, 27, alleged during an interview with TheWrap<\/a> published on Friday, April 21. \u201cThey called on a three-way [conference call], and they were kind of, \u2018Oh, due to your mental health, we think it\u2019s best for you to not come to the reunion.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n The dental assistant further claimed that she and now-boyfriend Josh Demas<\/strong><\/a> were given barely any notice before being booted from the taping on Sunday, April 16. \u201cIt was like a two-day turnaround. They told us the day before [the reunion],\u201d she alleged.<\/p>\n While Jackie was absent from the reunion stage<\/a>, she was given a chance to speak during a pre-taped interview with cohost Vanessa Lachey<\/strong><\/a>. During the chat, the reality star said she was ready to \u201clet bygones be bygones.\u201d<\/p>\n Jackie\u2019s remarks came shortly after former cast members of the reality series claimed to Business Insider<\/a> <\/em>that they were put through \u201cemotional warfare\u201d while on the show. Love Is Blind<\/em>\u2019s production company, Kinetic Content, responded to the allegations<\/a> on Tuesday, April 18.<\/p>\n \u201cThe well-being of our participants is of paramount importance to Kinetic,\u201d the production company told Variety in a statement at the time. \u201cWe have rigorous protocols in place to care for each person before, during, and after filming.\u201d<\/p>\n Jackie, meanwhile, raised eyebrows on season 4 of the reality series when she called off her engagement to fellow contestant Marshall Glaze<\/strong><\/a> following a breakdown on their Mexican getaway<\/a>. While not all the Love Is Blind<\/em> couples make it down the aisle<\/a>, the timing of their split seemed suspicious as she was quickly linked to fellow castmate Josh, 31. (On the show,\u00a0it appeared that Jackie skipped her wedding dress fitting for a coffee date with Josh<\/a>.)<\/p>\n The Washington native claimed to TheWrap that Netflix edited the episodes<\/a> to make it appear as though she started dating Josh while she was still with Marshall, 27, which was allegedly not the case. In fact, Jackie told the outlet that she felt like she was cut from the live reunion because she planned to call out production for painting a false narrative.<\/p>\n \u201cIt was one of those [things] where I would be scared too, because all I wanted was for them to admit that the scenes were messed up,\u201d Jackie explained on Friday. \u201cBut Marshall admitted and clarified [what happened] in his little interview.\u201d<\/p>\n The TV personality \u2014 who went Instagram official with Josh on Sunday, April 16<\/a> \u2014 noted that she previously released \u201call my receipts and text messages,\u201d which made her feel \u201cvindicated.\u201d<\/p>\n Jackie insisted: \u201cAll I wanted [was] for them to say, \u2018Yeah, we messed up in how we portrayed and edited things.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n As for her relationship with Josh, Jackie exclusively told Us Weekly<\/em><\/a>\u00a0that the couple are still going strong. \u201cMe and Josh \u2014 we live together,\u201d she said. \u201cWe\u2019re going on a year on the 27th of April<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n The Netflix personality revealed that her and Josh\u2019s love story \u201cis exactly how it was supposed to happen. Jackie added: \u201cI think if me and Josh would have chose[n] each other in the pods<\/a>, I think, maybe, our story would\u2019ve been a little bit different than how it is now.
