Travis Kelce<\/strong><\/a> poked fun at his restrictive attire while hosting Prime Video\u2019s Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?<\/em><\/p>\n

The jokes were flying in Us Weekly<\/em>\u2018s exclusive clip from the Wednesday, February 5, episode as Kelce, 35, asked the contestants<\/a> a sports-related question.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat American female gymnast has won over 30 medals at the World Championships and Olympics combined, including individual all-around gold at the 2016 Rio Games?\u201d he read before both contestants simultaneously named Simone Biles.<\/p>\n

Guest panelist and comedian Ron Funches brought the topic back to football, saying, \u201cI believe her husband, [Jonathan Owens], now plays for my team the [Chicago] Bears.\u201d One of the contestants questioned whether Funches, 41, ever showed an interest in gymnastics, to which he replied, \u201cI am a gymnast now.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kelce got in on the fun by asking Funches to \u201cdo a cartwheel.\u201d Fellow comedian Nicole Byer<\/strong>, meanwhile, took that as an opportunity to playfully challenge Kelce<\/a> to do the same.<\/p>\n

\u201cMe? Not in this tight suit,\u201d he quipped. There was nothing holding back Byer, 38, who proceeded to show off an effortless cartwheel on the stage.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s plenty of fun taking place<\/a> on the debut season of Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?<\/em> The Prime Video series puts a different spin on Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?<\/em>, which ran from 2007 to 2019.<\/p>\n

Instead of recruiting middle school students, Kelce\u2019s quiz show has contestants relying on celebrities including Nikki Glaser, Garcelle Beauvais, Lala Kent, Natasha Leggero, Lilly Singh, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Chad Ochocinco<\/strong> and more for help answering the trivia questions.<\/p>\n

Before the show premiered in October 2024, Kelce discussed getting the chance<\/a> to be a TV host.<\/p>\n

\u201cI grew up loving game shows, and I\u2019m excited to be following in the footsteps of so many TV icons by hosting my very first one with Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?<\/em>\u201d he said in an April 2024 statement. \u201cThe original show is a great success, so to be bringing a new format with everyone\u2019s favorite celebrities to the screen, will definitely be entertaining.\u201d<\/p>\n

One month later, Travis called the experience \u201ca blast\u201d on his and brother Jason Kelce<\/strong>\u2018s \u201cNew Heights\u201d podcast, adding, \u201cTo be honest, I always wanted to do something with a game show. I always wanted to be a part of it, whether I was a contestant, somebody helping out or hosting one.\u201d<\/p>\n
