Us Weekly<\/em> can exclusively confirm the Selling the OC<\/i><\/a> star is leaving The Oppenheim Group and will not be appearing on season 4 of the Netflix series. Instead, she\u2019s te<\/p>\n

Top-producing agents\u00a0@cindi.b.karamzadeh and\u00a0@thelaurenshortt have officially joined forces, bringing a fresh, multi-faceted approach to the luxury real estate market,\u201d Lauren wrote in a joint Instagram<\/a> post with follow real estate agent and designer Cindi Karamzadeh <\/strong>on Monday, February 3. <\/strong>\u201cNow, as part of\u00a0@compass, they are aligned with a brokerage that reflects their commitment to\u00a0\u00a0innovation, sophistication, and unparalleled service.\u201d<\/p>\n

The news comes after Lauren teased a big announcement about her professional life would be revealed in February.<\/p>\n

The announcement also comes just after Netflix confirmed Selling the OC<\/i> was officially renewed for season 4<\/a>. The streaming service revealed production on the upcoming season is currently underway, with a release date to be announced at a later time.<\/p>\n

\u201cA lot has changed in the real lives of those agents since season 3, so it\u2019s exciting to get back down there,\u201d series creator Adam DiVello<\/strong> told Tudum<\/a> on January 24. \u201cThey are just crushing it down there.\u201d<\/p>\n

Although no casting announcements have been made, DiVello teased that \u201ca lot of new faces\u201d will be looking to prove themselves in the cutthroat world of Orange County real estate for season 4.<\/p>\n

As an original cast member of Selling the OC<\/i>, Lauren brought years of experience navigating high-end real estate to the show.<\/p>\n

During her three seasons, Lauren tried her best to focus on selling homes instead of the drama surrounding her coworkers.<\/p>\n

\u201cA lot of people will slide into my DMs and say, \u2018What are you even doing on the show? You\u2019ve never shown a house on TV,\u2019\u201d Lauren told Us Weekly<\/i> in June 2024. \u201cJust because it doesn\u2019t make it on the show, trust me. I\u2019ve been in real estate for over eight years. I know what I\u2019m doing. I sell homes, but it\u2019s not always as it seems on TV and also we film for about three to four months. During that time, our life is the show.\u201d<\/p>\n
