Law Roach is ‘happy’ for pal Zendaya and her fiance Tom Holland after it was revealed they got engaged recently<\/p>\n
Weeks after it was revealed that the ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ co-stars, both 28, took their relationship to the next level, their friends and family have been speaking out, and the fashion guru has now had his say.<\/p>\n
Speaking to PEOPLE at the Fifteen Percent Pledge Gala in Los Angeles at the weekend, he reacted to their big news: “How do I feel about what? Happy.<\/p>\n
“There’s nothing else much to say about that.”<\/p>\n
Tom’s dad, Dominic Holland, recently shared an insight into his son’s proposal.<\/p>\n
\nThe 57-year-old author wrote in a post on Patreon: “He had purchased a ring. He had spoken with her father and gained permission to propose to his daughter.”<\/p>\n
\nDominic observed that his son planned out the proposal in meticulous detail before he popped the question to Zendaya.<\/p>\n
\nHe shared: “Tom had everything planned out\u2026 When, where, how, what to say, what to wear\u2026 (sic)”<\/p>\n
\nTom and Zendaya have so far remained tight-lipped about their engagement.<\/p>\n
\nBut in November, Zendaya admitted that she feels “extra safe” whenever she works with Tom.<\/p>\n
\nThe actress told Vanity Fair’s 2025 Hollywood Issue: “It\u2019s actually strangely comfortable. It\u2019s like second nature, if anything. You feel extra safe with the person you\u2019re acting beside. I love working with him.<\/p>\n
\n“He\u2019s so talented, and so passionate about what he does. He always gives things 1,000 percent, even if he\u2019s absolutely worn down. I really appreciate that about him. It feels pretty normal. That\u2019s how we met. Literally, at a chemistry read.”<\/p>\n
\nPrior to that, Tom confessed to Googling Zendaya’s name.<\/p>\n
\nThe loved-up duo went public with their romance back in 2021, and Tom revealed that he searches Zendaya’s name to “check” that she’s okay.<\/p>\n
\nAppearing on Samah Dada’s ‘On The Menu’ podcast, Tom shared: “The last thing I Googled was actually Zendaya.<\/p>\n
\n“I\u2019m not on [social media], and I delete it when I\u2019m not using it. So, sometimes, like, it\u2019s more of a bit of an anxiety thing, but I\u2019ll check to see if everything\u2019s good and to make sure we\u2019re all cool.<\/p>\n
\n“So I just give her a little Google and look [through] the news, and I\u2019m like, \u2018She\u2019s good.'”<\/p>\n
