Kailyn Lowry<\/strong><\/a> has shared an update on her recovery following a tummy tuck revision.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re 5 days post-op,\u201d Lowry, 32, said in a video shared via TikTok<\/a> on Saturday, February 2, adding, \u201cI\u2019m trying to taper down on pain meds, don\u2019t want to get addicted. I\u2019m severely uncomfortable. [Lowry\u2019s friend] Sterling [Black]<\/strong>\u2019s about to help me take a shower and then I\u2019m going to do lymphatic massage. But I am getting around, it\u2019s just a little uncomfortable.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lowry noted that she \u201cdid not do a butt transfer or a BBL or anything like that.\u201d \u201cBecause we did a tummy tuck revision to combine my c-section scar with it, I have severe bruising in my butt cheek,\u201d she explained.\u201cAnd no matter what surgery you get, make sure you take laxatives or Miralax or whatever else.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to WebMD<\/a>, doctors may recommend taking Miralax or other stool softeners after surgery. In a separate clip, Lowry revealed that she had been drinking a cocktail of Miralax and prune juice. In another shot of the Teen Mom 2 alum post-shower, Lowry added, \u201cI\u2019m in pain.\u201d<\/p>\n

Last month, Lowry opened up about struggling with her mental health<\/a> and body dysmorphia after undergoing breast reduction surgery in December 2024.<\/p>\n

I pray that my kids never struggle with their body images enough to mutilate their bodies to be skinny,\u201d Lowry said in a video posted via Instagram Reels on January 6. \u201cI think a little nip and tuck in terms of a nose job or a boob job is OK but to go through this to be skinny is [a] mental illness, truly. And I say that with the most respect to anyone going through it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lowry shared an update on her recovery from the breast reduction<\/a> on December 29, 2024, which marked the first time she was able to do her makeup and take a shower without assistance following the surgery.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m struggling this time around,\u201d she said at the time. \u201cI don\u2019t know if it\u2019s cause I have a daughter now \u2026 not just my daughter, my sons too, I don\u2019t want them to experience this level of body dysmorphia.\u201d<\/p>\n
