While fans are rooting for her, it\u2019s more than likely that she\u2019ll miss out again.<\/p>\n<p>Understand, this is not a criticism. And as we\u2019ve learned time and time again this year, history has a way of repeating itself.<\/p>\n<p>Besides, even though Bey is nominated in a bunch of categories (including Album of the Year), she does have some stiff competition, going up against rising popstars like Chappell Roan, Sabrina Carpenter, and Charli XCX.  Past Album of the Year winners Taylor Swift and Billie Eilish are also nominated this year, and honestly, it\u2019s anybody\u2019s game.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-how-many-grammys-does-beyonce-have\">How Many Grammys Does Beyonce Have?<\/h2>\n<p>Queen B is the artist to win the most Grammy Awards ever, which should come as no surprise. She\u2019s also the most nominated artist of all time. She shares that honor with her husband, Jay-Z.<\/p>\n<p>Beyonce has won 32 Grammys throughout her career. She has been nominated as a member of Destiny\u2019s Child and for her collab album with Jay-Z as The Carters.<\/p>\n<p>Beyonce has been nominated in the general field many times, but she has only won Song of the Year once. Her only win came in 2010 for the megahit \u201cSingle Ladies.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Next year, Beyonce has the opportunity to expand her lead as the most-honored Grammy winner in history. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehollywoodgossip.com\/2024\/04\/beyonce-first-black-woman-number-1-country-song-album\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Her album <em>Cowboy Carter<\/em><\/a> has a whopping 11 nominations for the 67th Annual Grammy Awards, making her the most nominated artist this year.<\/p>\n<p>Despite winning many Grammys, Beyonce has been shut out for many of the Recording Academy\u2019s General Field awards. And that\u2019s not the only time she\u2019s felt that burn. <\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-beyonce-s-cma-shutout\">Beyonce\u2019s CMA Shutout<\/h2>\n<p>One of the most glaring snubs for Bey actually came in September 2024. This is a \u2018Beyonc\u00e9\u2019 album,\u201d she wrote on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/beyonce\/p\/C4s6Zr7rlwA\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Instagram<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Even though the CMAs didn\u2019t explain <em>Cowboy Carter\u2019s <\/em>omission, a few country stars have offered their opinions on why Beyonce didn\u2019t get a nomination. Some of them suggested that Beyonce isn\u2019t in the country world enough to get the recognition.<\/p>\n<p>Luke Bryan noted that the \u201cHalo\u201d singer hasn\u2019t been part of the country \u201cfamily,\u201d which may have been why she got left out. And I\u2019m not saying she didn\u2019t do that \u2026 but country music is a lot about family.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Dolly Parton, who is featured on the album, also shared her thoughts on the controversy in a <em>Variety <\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/2024\/music\/news\/dolly-parton-beyonce-taylor-swift-1236147283\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">interview<\/a>. \u201cThere\u2019s so many wonderful country artists that, I guess probably the country music field, they probably thought, well, we can\u2019t really leave out some of the ones that spend their whole life doing that,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>The lack of CMA nominations clearly didn\u2019t affect <em>Cowboy Carter\u2019s <\/em>run for the Grammys, because she was nominated in multiple country music categories, including Best Country Album.<\/p>\n<p>That being said, it\u2019s still not clear if Beyonce will win in any of the country categories, because she\u2019s up against a few artists who are more firmly in the country world, like Chris Stapleton, Lainey Wilson, and Kacey Musgraves. Her <em>Cowboy Carter <\/em>collaborators Post Malone and Shaboozey are also nominated against her, and they did receive CMA nominations.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-beyonce-s-biggest-snubs\">Beyonce\u2019s Biggest Snubs<\/h2>\n<p>Even though she hasn\u2019t won many awards in the General Field, Beyonce has popped up as a nominee countless times. In more recent years, there\u2019s been outrage over Bey\u2019s losses in those categories.<\/p>\n<p>One of Beyonce\u2019s first major losses was in 2015. She lost the Album of the Year award for her self-titled album to Beck\u2019s <em>Morning Phase.<\/em> Still, she gracefully accepted the loss, but the same couldn\u2019t be said for everyone.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\">\n<p>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Album Of The Year: Beck | GRAMMYs\" width=\"696\" height=\"392\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/V4jEpVCGqSM?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/p>\n<\/figure>\n<p>After Beck won, Kanye West <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=V4jEpVCGqSM\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">charged the stage,<\/a> seemingly in a repeat from his 2009 VMAs incident. After getting on stage, Ye smiled and headed back into the audience. He didn\u2019t escalate the situation any further.<\/p>\n<p>Fortunately, Beck seemed to take it in good fun. He even gestured for Kanye to come back on stage, but the rapper didn\u2019t take him up on the offer.<\/p>\n<p>After the show, Kanye explained his thoughts in an <a href=\"http:\/\/www.eonline.com\/news\/623519\/kanye-west-goes-off-on-beck-s-grammy-win-he-should-have-given-his-award-to-beyonce\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">interview<\/a> with <em>E! News<\/em>. \u201cBeck needs to respect artistry and he should have given his award to Beyonce,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Another major loss came in 2017. Beyonce\u2019s album <em>Lemonade<\/em> was a critical hit. The album topped many outlets\u2019 year-end lists. The record was definitely favored to come out on top at the Grammys.<\/p>\n<p>Ultimately, Adele won for her album <em>25. <\/em>As she accepted the award, the \u201cSomeone Like You\u201d singer showed that she thought Beyonce should\u2019ve won.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\">\n<p>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Adele Wins Album Of The Year | Acceptance Speech | 59th GRAMMYs\" width=\"696\" height=\"392\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/ctuggqUSITM?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/p>\n<\/figure>\n<p>During her <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=ctuggqUSITM\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">speech<\/a>, Adele showed plenty of love for Queen B. \u201cI can\u2019t possibly accept this award,\u201d she said. \u201cI\u2019m very humble, and I\u2019m very grateful and gracious.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy artist of my life is Beyonce, and this album to me, the <em>Lemonade<\/em> album, is just so monumental,\u201d she said. \u201cAll us artists here, we f**king adore you. That being said, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehollywoodgossip.com\/2024\/03\/beyonces-cowboy-carter-album-cameos-from-dolly-parton-rumi-carter-leave-fans-reeling\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">her album <em>Cowboy Carter<\/em><\/a><em> <\/em>responds to some of her past snubs.<\/p>\n<p>In the opening song \u201cAmerican Requiem,\u201d Beyonce claps back at critics. \u201cUsed to say I spoke too country\/And the rejection came, said I wasn\u2019t country enough,\u201d she sings.<\/p>\n<p>The line <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehollywoodgossip.com\/2024\/10\/luke-bryan-beyonce-diss-beyhive-american-idol\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">references the backlash <\/a>that Beyonce received for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehollywoodgossip.com\/2024\/09\/beyonce-snubbed-by-country-music-awards-beyhive-vows-revenge\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">performing at the CMA Awards<\/a> in 2016 with The Chicks. Following the performance, some fans spoke out against Bey\u2019s inclusion in the award show.<\/p>\n<p>The line also seems to clap back at the Grammys. The Academy rejected her song \u201cDaddy\u2019s Home\u201d from the country categories. After her CMA snubs, the line feels even more fitting on the album. <\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-what-awards-is-she-nominated-for-this-year\">What Awards Is She Nominated For This Year?<\/h2>\n<p>As mentioned above, Beyonce is up for 11 awards at the 2025 Grammys. If she wins any, she\u2019ll greatly expand her lead as the most awarded artist.<\/p>\n<p>All three of the major categories have Beyonce nominations.
