Jon Gosselin<\/strong><\/a> is clarifying where he stands with ex-wife Kate Gosselin<\/strong><\/a> more than a decade after their acrimonious split.<\/p>\n

Speaking to E! News<\/em><\/a> in an interview published on Friday, January 31, Jon, 47, admitted the former couple are no longer on speaking terms.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe don\u2019t communicate,\u201d Jon confessed to the outlet. \u201cI think the last time I heard her voice in person was, like, 2018.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Jon & Kate Plus 8<\/em> star explained that his last conversation with Kate, 49, in real-life was in court during a custody battle over their son Collin<\/a>, 20. (Jon and Kate share sextuplets Collin, Hannah, Alexis, Aaden, Leah <\/strong>and Joel<\/strong>, all 20, as well as twins Mady<\/strong> and Cara,<\/strong> both 23.)<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tGonzalo Marroquin\/for BHRC Jon Gosselin is still not on speaking terms with ex-wife Kate Gosselin and six of their children, but he hopes the tide will change \u2014 eventually. \u201cI always wish for the best for everything, but as adults now they have to make that decision,\u201d Jon, 47, exclusively told Us Weekly on Thursday, [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

At the time, Collin had accused Kate of verbally and emotionally abusing him during his childhood. (Jon was ultimately awarded custody while Kate has denied all abuse allegations made against her by Collin.)<\/p>\n

While the exes no longer communicate in person, Jon said the dynamic is less dramatic than it has been in the past<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s been calm,\u201d Jon said. \u201c[It\u2019s been] very calm, knock on wood, for two years now.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jon and Kate were married for two decades before they finalized their divorce in 2009, despite renewing their vows in Hawaii in August 2008.<\/p>\n

However, tension between the pair was visible on the show as they disagreed over how to raise their eight children.<\/p>\n

In May 2009, Us Weekly<\/em> broke the news that Jon had allegedly been unfaithful and Kate filed for divorce just one month later.<\/p>\n

\u201cParents of multiples have triple the divorce rate,\u201d Kate said in a May 2009 episode of their reality show. \u201cI was thinking we were going to beat that. I don\u2019t know if I can say that anymore.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Jon has since moved on from Kate, popping the question<\/a> to his girlfriend-of-three-years Stephanie Lebo<\/strong> in November 2024.<\/p>\n

Entertainment Tonight<\/em> reported Lebo\u2019s parents were present to witness the occasion, with her father becoming emotional after Gosselin asked his daughter to become his wife.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou don\u2019t know how long I waited for this day for you, and there was a time where I thought it was never going to happen for you,\u201d Lebo\u2019s father whispered in Lebo\u2019s ear, ET<\/em> reported. \u201cI\u2019m so very happy for you and Jon.\u201d<\/p>\n
