Joe Bradley<\/strong> and Maddi Reese<\/strong>\u2019s connection on Southern Hospitality<\/em><\/a> was obvious from the start \u2014 but it wasn\u2019t until season 3 that their friendship turned romantic.<\/p>\n

\u201cI really have had feelings for her for years, but we were also best friends,\u201d Bradley exclusively told Us Weekly<\/em><\/a> in December 2024. \u201cOne day I would wake up and be like, \u2018I have a chance with a girl in my dreams\u2019 and the next day I\u2019ll be like, \u2018This will never happen.\u2019 And most of our friends told me it would never happen.\u201d<\/p>\n

While Bradley and Reese started out as best friends when season 1 of Southern Hospitality<\/em> premiered in 2022, Bradley harbored romantic feelings for her behind closed doors. Once Reese was single at the start of 2024, Bradley finally made his move.<\/p>\n

The pair\u2019s romance went public after Us Weekly<\/em> exclusively debuted the show\u2019s season 3 trailer<\/a> in November 2024. During the video, Bradley and Reese seemingly got hitched in Las Vegas.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think everything in our life is spur of the moment, so it\u2019s pretty on brand for us,\u201d Bradley told Us<\/em> that December, hinting that the Sin City nuptials might be real. \u201cWe\u2019re spontaneous crazy people in the best way possible, but it felt right.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fans were introduced to Bradley and Reese \u2014 as well as their Republic Garden & Lounge coworkers \u2014 during the Southern Charm<\/em> spinoff, Southern Hospitality<\/em>. At the time, Bradley and Reese were both VIP servers. Reese was also a DJ who often performed at the Charleston bar.<\/p>\n

January 2023 <\/strong><\/h3>\n

During season 1, episode 8, Bradley revealed he had romantic feelings for Reese amid her on-again, off-again relationship with Trevor Stokes<\/strong>. The revelation led to a showdown between Bradley and Stokes. Bradley was also yelled at by Reese and coworker Mia Alario<\/strong><\/a>, since he was getting cozy with her around the same time.<\/p>\n

Bradley called Reese his \u201cwork wife\u201d via Instagram<\/a>, sharing a photo of the pair at Republic.<\/p>\n

December 2023 <\/strong><\/h3>\n

Reese exclusively told Us<\/em> that she was single after breaking up with Stokes. Her ups and downs with Stokes \u2014 which included two cheating scandals<\/a> \u2014 played out during season 2 of Southern Hospitality<\/em>, which aired from December 2023 to February 2024.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am focusing on myself,\u201d Reese explained to Us<\/em><\/a> in December 2023. \u201cI need no drama for a couple of months.\u201d She noted at the time that she wanted a \u201cstable home\u201d so she was trying to \u201cmanifest that in my life.\u201d<\/p>\n

After crossing paths at BravoCon in November 2023, Bradley sparked a romance with Summer House<\/em> star Danielle Olivera<\/strong>. He raised eyebrows in January 2024 when Us<\/em> broke the news that Bradely was spotted getting cozy with Luann De Lesseps<\/strong><\/a> at a New York City hotel. (Bradley denied anything happened between him and De Lesseps, but eventually confirmed they\u2019d kissed<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

That same month, Bradley exclusively told Us<\/em><\/a> that he was \u201ckind of pressing the breaks a little bit\u201d with Olivera. Olivera, meanwhile, confirmed in February 2024 that they were no longer dating.<\/p>\n

February 2024 <\/strong><\/h3>\n

Following the Southern Hospitality<\/em> season 2 reunion, Bradley and Reese \u201cstarted hanging out,\u201d according to Bradley. He exclusively told Us<\/em> months later, \u201cI have not been with anyone or kissed anyone since last winter around February.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bradley confirmed to Us<\/em> that he and Reese \u201cstarted being boyfriend and girlfriend in the middle of April,\u201d which was \u201ca little bit before the cameras came around\u201d for season 3 of the Bravo series.<\/p>\n

Reese added, \u201cWe just started dating weeks before we started filming, so I feel like we\u2019re figuring it all out.\u201d She confessed to Us<\/em>, \u201cI am still uneasy about getting into another relationship or dating or even putting myself out there, so I just feel like it\u2019s going to be really interesting watching that play out and everything.\u201d<\/p>\n

Reese shared photos from her DJ performance in Las Vegas via Instagram<\/a>, revealing that the Southern Hospitality<\/em> cast was there to cheer her on. The performance occurred on what appeared to be the same weekend when Bradley and Reese \u201cgot married\u201d by an Elvis impersonator.<\/p>\n

\u201cI feel like you\u2019re going to have to tune in to find out [if it\u2019s real],\u201d Reese teased during a joint interview with Bradley in December 2024, telling Us<\/em>, \u201cI feel like you watch our whole journey from [when] we just started dating to talking about getting serious and taking that kind of big next step. You\u2019ll see that play out and I\u2019m excited because we\u2019re in Vegas when it happens, and that trip is awesome.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bradley called the wedding an \u201cepic moment\u201d<\/a> that he chose to participate in to \u201cshow my love for her and prove all the haters wrong.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re very happy right now,\u201d Bradley gushed to Us<\/em> about his romance with Reese, noting that he had to \u201cgive her time and space to make that safe decision\u201d that she wanted to date him.<\/p>\n

Reese, meanwhile, told Us<\/em> that \u201ctiming was everything\u201d when it came to the start of her relationship with Bradley. \u201cI always had feelings for Joe, but I just didn\u2019t know if it was past a friendship or now,\u201d she said, adding that taking that leap of faith was \u201cdefinitely worth taking that risk.\u201d<\/p>\n

January 2025 <\/strong><\/h3>\n

During the season 3 premiere of Southern Hospitality<\/em><\/a>, both Reese and Bradley confirmed their relationship status. As the season continued, Reese confessed that their friend TJ Dinch<\/strong> spreading rumors about Bradley\u2019s sexuality delayed the couple\u2019s romance<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThree years ago, everyone was talking about the rumor. So, of course, I kinda believed TJ when he told me Joe is flirty, or fruity, or what\u2019s the word? Gay,\u201d Reese shared during the January 9 episode. \u201cThat was the reason why I did not hook up with Joe for a long time.\u201d<\/p>\n
