Charli xcx<\/strong><\/a> opened up about the many stars who she worked with while promoting her new album Brat<\/em> and her plans for the upcoming Grammy Awards. <\/p>\n The 32-year-old \u201c360\u2033 pop star rolled out her collection of club anthems last year and then proceeded to promote it with a series of collaborations with the likes of Ariana Grande<\/strong><\/a>, Troye Sivan<\/strong><\/a>, Billie Eilish<\/strong><\/a>, Lorde<\/strong><\/a> and more. <\/p>\n Her worked earned her eight Grammy nods<\/a>, and she\u2019ll take the stage as a performer<\/a> during the Biggest Night in Music. <\/p>\n In a new interview, Charli<\/strong> teased her other plans for the night. The connective tissue that makes them all work together is a je ne sais quoi. It\u2019s just this thing that they have that\u2019s undeniably unique to them,\u201d she explained.<\/p>\n The hitmaker had more to say about Lorde<\/strong>, who recorded a duet version of \u201cGirl, so confusing\u201d<\/a> with Charli<\/strong> after years of feud rumors. <\/p>\n \u201cIt brought us so much closer together,\u201d Charli<\/strong> shared. \u201cPeople are people, and people are tricky sometimes, and relationships are confusing. There are so many different colors to the spectrum of friendship. To actually come out and talk about that was really powerful for both of us, especially since everything is so quick to be dramatized and twisted into something that it is not. She just wanted to go there. She had no ego.\u201d<\/p>\n Regarding the breathtaking success of Brat<\/em>, Charli<\/strong> is happy to see it coming, but it wasn\u2019t her intention. <\/p>\n \u201cI wasn\u2019t thinking that it would be very successful at all, despite believing in the music massively. I was making it for myself. To please everybody is sort of pointless,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n Despite that, she\u2019s nabbed all the Grammy nods. How will she spend her night?
