As their marriage came to an end on HGTV\u2019s The Flip Off<\/em>, Christina Haack<\/strong><\/a> recalled Josh Hall<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s frustration surrounding her friendly bond with ex-husband Tarek El Moussa<\/strong><\/a> \u2014 in name and in life.<\/p>\n

During the series premiere of The Flip Off<\/em>, which aired on Wednesday, January 29, Christina, 41, and Josh, 44, filmed one episode before their offscreen split<\/a>. Cameras caught a few tense exchanges between the now-exes, including one involving Christina\u2019s friendship with Tarek, 43.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is a competition and we have to pull out all the stops. Whatever it takes to win, we do it! Halls rule,\u201d Josh told Christina, who didn\u2019t react to his enthusiasm. \u201cYou are supposed to say it with me or repeat it or something that shows that you are with me.\u201d<\/p>\n

Josh reminded Christina that she\u2019s \u201ca Hall now,\u201d<\/a> adding, \u201cDon\u2019t get confused in this competition about what your last name is.\u201d<\/p>\n

Soon after, Haack opened up about her new relationship in a lengthy Instagram post, [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

In a confessional, Christina offered more clarity regarding Josh\u2019s dig. \u201cWhen I met Josh, my name was still Christina El Moussa on everything,\u201d Christina, who was married to Tarek from 2009 to 2018, explained. \u201cJosh did not like that and he was all about me becoming a Hall.\u201d<\/p>\n

The tension continued to grow as Josh attempted to speak with<\/a> Christina. \u201cI am telling stories and every time I do, you tune out,\u201d he said, to which Christina fired back, \u201cIt\u2019s not even a story. You are trying to educate me on something I have no interest in.\u201d<\/p>\n

Josh called Christina \u201crude,\u201d while she noted that she just isn\u2019t as vocal as he\u2019d apparently like her to be. \u201cThe amount of s\u2014 you say where I am like, \u2018I wish she would shut up already?’\u201d he told her on screen. \u201cWe have been together long enough now \u2014 years \u2014 and you can\u2019t figure me out by now? It is going to be a rough run. My wife is pissing me off right now.\u201d<\/p>\n

Christina acknowledged that Josh was \u201ca bit moody\u201d as of late.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cJosh knows that Tarek and I have a history,\u201d she told the cameras. \u201cI am sure some of it is the stress of the competition.\u201d<\/p>\n

Following her split from Tarek, with whom she shares daughter Taylor, 14, and son Brayden, 9, Christina found love with Ant Anstead. The duo exchanged vows in 2018 and welcomed their son, Hudson, one year later, but they called it quits in 2020. Their divorce was finalized the following year.<\/p>\n

Christina moved on with Josh but filed for divorce in July 2024. Earlier this month, Christina opened up about her search for The One after she sparked romance rumors with businessman Christopher LaRocca<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ll always love love. I probably will [get married again] eventually. But, not anytime soon,\u201d she exclusively told Us Weekly<\/em> in a cover story before noting that she would need to \u201cbe engaged for a minimum of, like, five years<\/a>\u201d before walking down the aisle for a fourth time.<\/p>\n

After the pair split in December 2016 following seven years of marriage, they continued to work together on their show HGTV\u2019s Flip or Flop. While the exes remained coworkers they began coparenting their two children: daughter [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Christina subsequently celebrated resorting her last name back to Haack. \u201cIdentifying as only married twice. Time to update the Wikipedia,\u201d she wrote via her Instagram Story.<\/p>\n
