Natalie<\/strong>, 29, broke down in tears while revealing that she was \u201cactively miscarrying\u201d their second child.<\/p>\n\u201cIt has been the biggest heartbreak, I think, of my life,\u201d Natalie<\/strong> said. \u201cI\u2019ve never experienced something where I feel so empty inside.\u201d<\/p>\nKeep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span>Natalie<\/strong> got very emotional as she said that she \u201cfeels dead inside\u201d following the miscarriage.<\/p>\n\u201cI was spot bleeding for a while,\u201d Natalie <\/strong>recalled, adding that she was \u201cfreaked\u201d out by the blood as it didn\u2019t occur during her first pregnancy. (Natalie<\/strong> and Nick<\/strong>, 44, welcomed daughter River<\/strong> in February 2024.)<\/p>\n\u201cI think I knew from the jump, but I didn\u2019t want to accept that. Then, it just got heavier and heavier,\u201d she continued. \u201cIt was like I gave birth, you know, it was like I did, essentially. And I was screaming and crying, and Nick ran into the bathroom.\u201d<\/p>\n
Nick <\/strong>just \u201cheld\u201d Natalie<\/strong> following the experience before he was eventually able to \u201cretrieve\u201d the remains.<\/p>\n\u201cThat was definitely the hardest night of my life,\u201d Natalie<\/strong> said. \u201cJust experiencing that is, like, something I wouldn\u2019t wish upon anyone. And unfortunately, I know a lot of women do experience it. I just feel for these people so much because I was so mad at my body for letting it go.\u201d<\/p>\nAlso during the podcast, Natalie<\/strong> shared her how a conversation with her doctor has helped her start to heal.<\/p>\n\u201cOur doctor [was] able to say it was unviable, it wasn\u2019t going to live outside of your body. It gives you some hope \u2026 if you focus on the scientific part, I think that\u2019s what gets you through it,\u201d Natalie<\/strong> explained. \u201cWhich is incredibly hard to do, because as the mom, you feel everything. From the second that it was a positive pregnancy test, I felt that baby inside of me. Up until I lost it, it\u2019s so real.\u201d<\/p>\nShe also noted that she\u2019s \u201cstill bleeding\u201d every time she uses the restroom, adding, \u201cI don\u2019t think I\u2019ll ever be able to go into our bathroom and not feel that feeling.\u201d<\/p>\n
Later in the podcast, Natalie<\/strong> explained her decision to discuss the miscarriage on the podcast.<\/p>\n\u201cIt\u2019s going to take a long time to heal from this, but it is raw and we\u2019re feeling it right now,\u201d Natalie<\/strong> said. \u201cI think that\u2019s why I wanted to do this now because I want to show people and I want to [tell] the mothers who have felt this same feeling, \u2018Yeah, you\u2019re not alone.\u2019 \u2026My body feels so empty. I just also don\u2019t want to forget this baby.
