<\/p>\n Bachelor Nation alum Rachael Kirkconnell<\/strong><\/a> is speaking out following her split<\/a> from Matt James<\/strong><\/a>. Nearly two weeks after James, 33, announced the pair\u2019s breakup, Kirkconnell, 28, shared that the relationship\u2019s end was \u201cnothing that you can prepare for\u201d and revealed she\u2019s taking things \u201cone day at a time.\u201d She further hinted that there might be more to the story of their breakup than meets the eye but denied infidelity was involved. \u201cI think things will start to come out and I\u2019ll speak about it whenever I\u2019m ready, but for now, I\u2019m just protecting my peace,\u201d she said in footage shared via DeuxMoi\u2019s Instagram page. James previously announced on January 16 that he and Kirkconnell ended their relationship four years after meeting on The Bachelor<\/em> season 25. A source exclusively told Us Weekly<\/em> that the breakup was \u201ca long time coming\u201d despite seeming \u201cabrupt\u201d to fans, adding, \u201cIt was hard for Rachael to trust him.\u201d Kirkconnell will share more insight into the split on the \u201cCall Her Daddy\u201d podcast on Tuesday, January 28.
