Miranda Lambert<\/strong><\/a> is celebrating another year of marriage with husband Brendan McLoughlin<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n The \u201cWranglers\u201d singer, 41, shared a tribute to Brendan, 33, in an Instagram post<\/a> on Sunday, January 26. The carousel featured a black and white throwback photo in which the couple shared a kiss while leaning over a horse on their wedding day, as well as a more recent selfie showing Miranda and Brendan flashing smiles at the camera.<\/p>\n \u201c6 years. I\u2019ll love you forever,\u201d the country star captioned the post.<\/p>\n Miranda met Brendan on the set of Good Morning America<\/em> in 2018. She was performing with her band, Pistol Annies, on the talk show, where he was assigned to work at the time as a former New York City police officer. The pair fell in love fast and tied the knot in January 2019, with the \u201cDrunk\u201d hitmaker announcing the news to her fans the following month.<\/p>\n \u201cI wanted to share some news,\u201d Miranda wrote alongside a photo of herself in a wedding gown on Instagram. \u201cI met the love of my life. And we got hitched! My heart is full. Thank you, Brendan McLoughlin, for loving me for \u2026 me. #TheOne.\u201d<\/p>\n In June 2024, the couple faced reports of marital issues when Brendan was caught on video dancing<\/a> with a group of women at Miranda\u2019s Nashville bar, Casa Rosa. In one clip shared on TikTok, he was seen dancing closely with a brunette woman in a denim dress, while another video showed a blonde woman seemingly having an intimate conversation with the former NYPD officer with her hands on his face.<\/p>\n The mystery blonde, who chose to remain anonymous, told In Touch<\/em><\/a> after the videos went viral that her group\u2019s encounter with Brendan was completely \u201cinnocent.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cEarlier in the night, we noticed him in the roped-off section at the front of the bar. We recognized him, and we all thought it was cool that he was there, and mentioned hoping for a Miranda appearance,\u201d she explained. \u201cWe went back to enjoying our night, drinking and dancing with each other and just having a good time.\u201d<\/p>\n The woman added that they ended up \u201cnear the roped-off section\u201d and asked Brendan to take a photo with their bride-to-be, and he said he would.<\/p>\n \u201cSomehow, later, we were let into the roped-off section where he was. I\u2019m not sure how that was initiated or happened. We were all dancing together and laughing and talking, thanking him for helping to make our bride-to-be\u2019s night so special and fun. He was gracious and polite and kind. He did a lot of laughing at us, because we are a silly bunch and were having a good time just dancing and being goofy together,\u201d she continued.<\/p>\n The woman insisted that \u201cthere was never anything inappropriate said\u201d between anyone in the group and \u201cthere was no vibe whatsoever of anything other than friendly, innocent dancing and talking,\u201d noting that Brendan was \u201cnot flirty.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThe bar was extremely loud, and even yelling in each other\u2019s ear, it was hard to hear anything. He left about an hour, maybe an hour and a half, before we left. Truly, none of us ever felt that there was any flirting happening. It was just dancing, laughing, and talking. He was friendly and casual, but never inappropriate or suggestive in any way,\u201d the woman said.<\/p>\n The woman also said that putting her hands on Brendan\u2019s face was a \u201csilly, unconscious habit\u201d and something \u201cmotherly.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThat isn\u2019t something that should reflect badly on him at all. It\u2019s sad that he and Miranda are dealing with all of this for no reason,\u201d she said of the negative attention the couple received from fans at the time.<\/p>\n Miranda continued to show support for her husband after the videos surfaced. In an August 2024 interview on Bunnie Xo<\/strong>\u2019s \u201cDumb Blonde\u201d podcast, she explained that she is a \u201cninja\u201d<\/a> when it comes to protecting their relationship.<\/p>\n \u201cI told him, like, \u2018I\u2019m a ninja for you, and I will fight through anything with you.\u2019 And I feel like that\u2019s so important. And I think, you know, going through other relationships, you learn through those things,\u201d Miranda said. \u201cAnd you learn about communication and what you did do and what you didn\u2019t do. And so, I think I came into this marriage with such a strong sense of what I want and what I want to be for someone and the partner I want to be.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
