\t\t<\/p>\n Jennifer Lopez<\/strong><\/a> steps out for the world premiere of her new movie Kiss of the Spider Woman<\/em><\/strong> held during the 2025 Sundance Film Festival<\/strong><\/a><\/em> on Sunday evening (January 26) in Park City, Utah.<\/p>\n The 55-year-old entertainer stars in the upcoming musical film adaptation, and also serves as an executive producer. Her ex-husband Ben Affleck<\/strong><\/a> and his longtime best friend Matt Damon<\/strong><\/a> are also producers on the film.<\/p>\n At the premiere, Jennifer<\/strong> was joined by writer and director Bill Condon<\/strong><\/a>, as well as co-stars Tonatiuh<\/strong><\/a>, Aline Mayagoitia<\/strong> and Josefina Scaglione<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Earlier in the day, JLo<\/strong> wore an off-white outfit while making her way around town to promote the movie. <\/p>\n While attending the Variety Studio that day, she opened up about waiting her whole life for a role like this.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI was waiting my whole life to be able to do a real big MGM Hollywood musical, and I finally got to do it,\u201d she told Variety<\/a><\/em>\u2018s Matt Donnelly<\/strong>. \u201cIt was more [than I hoped]. Me and Diego [Luna]<\/strong><\/a> were on set and we\u2019re dancing around and we\u2019re singing and looking at each other and it\u2019s like we don\u2019t want to do anything else but musicals. Diego<\/strong> said that! Me too. I don\u2019t want to do anything else.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cBill<\/strong> wrote a script that for the the first time in my life I was in bed reading it and I started saying it out loud. Saying the lines and laughing and crying,\u201d she added. \u201cThis is what I\u2019ve been waiting for my whole life. This is all I\u2019ve ever wanted to do. I got into movies because of West Side Story<\/em>. I thought I was going to do Broadway. I wanted to do movies but I didn\u2019t even think about records. I wanted to do musicals. I love musicals. My kids love musicals. My mother did.
