Craig Conover<\/strong><\/a> and Paige DeSorbo<\/strong><\/a> were seemingly still in love<\/a> when they filmed Southern Charm<\/em><\/a> season 10 \u2014 but after breaking up, not all their onscreen interactions have aged well.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy whole life is business now. That\u2019s the fun stuff for me now,\u201d Craig told Austen Kroll<\/strong><\/a> during season 10, episode 4, which aired in January. \u201cMaking money, getting healthy and f\u2014ing my girlfriend<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n

Craig\u2019s life motto for season 10 \u2014 which was filmed before he and Paige parted ways in December 2024<\/a> after three years of dating<\/a> \u2014 isn\u2019t the only thing that makes Us do a double take watching it back.<\/p>\n

Many of Craig\u2019s plans were made with Paige in mind, including his choice to freeze his sperm and delay his vision of becoming a dad until she was ready. The two also were very relaxed about their hopes for marriage, which hits differently now that they aren\u2019t a couple.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe is doing housewife duties,\u201d Madison LeCroy<\/strong><\/a> pointed out during episode 5<\/a> after Paige made floral arrangements for a party at Craig\u2019s house. She then asked, \u201cWhat about just engagement without being engaged?\u201d<\/p>\n

Craig responded that the duo were \u201cbasically\u201d engaged<\/a> \u2014 and Paige didn\u2019t disagree.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor Paige and I, time spent in the backyard, that\u2019s our quality time,\u201d Craig revealed during episode 3, which aired in December 2024, showing off his finished Charleston house. \u201cWhen we first started dating, we were out and about all the time.\u201d<\/p>\n

He explained, \u201cWe just I guess [have] grown with each other. We\u2019d rather spend the time at home relaxing than out partying. I built this sanctuary for us to be away from the world and be able to relax and connect.\u201d<\/p>\n

Putting His Sperm on Ice<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Craig shocked pals Austen and Shep Rose<\/strong><\/a> during episode 4 when he revealed, \u201cMe and Paige have decided to freeze my sperm.\u201d<\/p>\n

His conversation with Paige, however, was equally as surprising<\/a>. \u201cI was thinking about freezing my sperm,\u201d Craig told his then-girlfriend. \u201cThat\u2019s like the craziest thing in the world,\u201d a stunned Paige said in response.<\/p>\n

Craig went through with the process, telling his friends that it was Paige\u2019s decision to hold off on having kids, confessing that \u201cwithout any influence from Paige\u201d he would have his own timeline. \u201cYou date a little while, then you get married, then you have kids,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Switching Up the Plan<\/strong><\/h3>\n

During the same episode, Craig said, \u201cI want kids one day. Have I ever told you that I want kids right now?\u201d He claimed, \u201cI never said I want kids right now.\u201d<\/p>\n

Austen, however, told the cameras, \u201cEver since I\u2019ve known Craig, he\u2019s wanted to get married, wanted to have kids.\u201d Austen added, \u201cI\u2019m not entirely sold that Craig wants what Paige wants.\u201d<\/p>\n

Craig later confessed that his timeline had shifted<\/a> after meeting the Summer House<\/em> star. \u201cThe version of life that I saw myself living isn\u2019t what I\u2019m living, which is this stable home that I grew up with,\u201d he told the cameras. \u201cEvery night at dinner, my mom and dad were there with my brother. I just loved that.\u201d<\/p>\n

He concluded: \u201cBut I think If you find the right person and they happen to be a feisty Italian from New York things aren\u2019t always going to go how you have them planned.\u201d<\/p>\n

Paige was supportive of Craig\u2019s Sewing Down South<\/a> company throughout their romance. They even joked about his crafts during episode 4, which aired on January 2, while envisioning one of the rooms in his house.<\/p>\n

\u201cDon\u2019t worry about me, you do what you want in that room,\u201d Paige told Craig, who revealed he wanted the space to be \u201ca multifunctional room where I can craft.\u201d<\/p>\n

Paige teased, \u201cI want you to be able to hem things for me. It\u2019s been three years, and you haven\u2019t hemmed a single pair of freaking pants for me!\u201d<\/p>\n

While Paige was on board with a sewing nook, she shut down one of Craig\u2019s more outlandish suggestions for the room. \u201cWhat about a wrapping paper wall?\u201d he asked to which Paige replied, \u201cWhat the f\u2014? No.\u201d<\/p>\n

During episode 5, Craig joked about hosting a party to celebrate him freezing his sperm. He then revealed that he was leaving Paige his sperm if he dies, and she wants more kids.<\/p>\n

\u201cIs there a return policy,\u201d she said with a laugh<\/a>. Craig, however, was serious because of his dreams of their future.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn the rom-com world that I live in, I die and you\u2019re like, \u2018But I still want to have his children,\u2019\u201d he said. Paige, however, noted she \u201cwould never do that.\u201d<\/p>\n

She argued, \u201cWhat, I\u2019m going to have a child and then actively not give them a dad?\u201d Craig responded by saying he understood that, but \u201cinstead of throwing it away immediately\u201d she would now have a \u201cchoice\u201d and it was a \u201cgift\u201d from him.<\/p>\n

Craig and Shep had a heart-to-heart during episode 7, which aired on January 23, talking about his ups and downs with Paige. \u201cYou have been itching for this white picket fence existence. Now you have it,\u201d Shep said, applauding Craig for his new life.<\/p>\n

Craig admitted, \u201cI think everyone knows, if it was up to me we would just get engaged. But she changes her mind a lot about stuff.\u201d<\/p>\n

His evolution during season 9 \u2014 and his hilarious one-liners \u2014 make him the unsung hero of Southern Charm in 2023. Craig\u2019s transformation has been apparent since the September premiere. \u201c[I] started to get healthier and cut my drinking and try [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

He detailed Paige\u2019s inner thoughts, explaining, \u201cOne day she\u2019ll text me and say, \u2018Let\u2019s build a f\u2014ing farmhouse in the middle of nowhere.\u2019 Or like, \u2018I\u2019m moving to Charleston.\u2019 Then she\u2019ll have a good day in New York and be like, \u2018I love it up here.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
