Love Is Blind<\/em><\/a>\u2018s Ashley Adionser<\/strong> announced her split<\/a> from husband Tyler Francis<\/strong><\/a>, revealing their separation less than three months after the former couple wed on the season 7 finale.<\/p>\n \u201cAfter much reflection, I want to share that Tyler and I have been separated for several weeks and have now made the difficult decision to end our marriage,\u201d Ashley, 32, told People<\/em><\/a> in a statement on Tuesday, January 21. \u201cWhile I had hoped for mutual understanding and transparency in our relationship, it has become clear that our paths are no longer aligned, making it impossible for me to continue in this marriage.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThis was not a decision I made lightly, but one I know is necessary for my own growth and peace,\u201d she added. \u201cWhile this chapter is ending, I will always hold respect for the time and love we shared. I kindly ask for privacy during this deeply personal time as I focus on healing and building a new future. Thank you for your understanding and support.\u201d<\/p>\n Tyler, 34, was embroiled in a paternity scandal<\/a> where it was revealed he was the father of three children<\/a> as Love Is Blind<\/em> season 7 aired in real time. He told Ashley about the kids while claiming he was a \u201csperm donor\u201d to a friend. The couple married in the finale episode<\/a>, which aired on October 23, 2024, and revealed they were still going strong in the October 30, 2024, reunion episode.<\/p>\n Just prior to their wedding, Tyler opened up to then-fianc\u00e9e Ashley about being the biological father of two girls and a boy in episode 9. The following day, cameras were rolling when the pair discussed the situation.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m not sure this is, like, a resolution kind of conversation,\u201d Ashley began. \u201cThis is a big thing. I feel like we had such great communication and I don\u2019t understand how two weeks before our wedding you drop this kind of bomb.\u201d<\/p>\n The marketing director said it was \u201csomething [she] should have known before agreeing to say yes.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m not upset by you trying to help a couple have kids. I think that\u2019s admirable in certain ways, but the issue comes in with me feeling like I was not getting the full picture of you,\u201d Ashley explained. \u201cOnce you\u2019re not given the full picture of something, it\u2019s hard not to question everything. Me being a single woman before this, to come into this scenario and fall in love with a guy who has three sperm babies, sperm-donor babies, is a lot to absorb.\u201d<\/p>\n Things heated up when the children\u2019s mother, Bri Thomas, disputed Tyler\u2019s version<\/a> of the story in an Instagram post on October 10, 2024.<\/p>\n \u201cYes, I am the mother of Tyler\u2019s three children. I\u2019m trying really hard to do this the right way, but I have no understanding why he would characterize his relationship with his children as he has,\u201d she wrote. \u201cI guess I have to speak on this, despite trying so hard not to. \u2018Sperm babies\u2019 they are not.\u201d<\/p>\n Bri then shared a since-deleted video of Tyler and one of his biological sons and wrote that it was taken around Christmas 2022. \u201cMy children love their \u2018Dad.\u2019 To think that he has reduced them to \u2018sperm babies,\u2019 when I was told he was going on the show to be able to better provide for them,\u201d Bri added.<\/p>\n According to Bri, her son was conceived via sperm donation from Tyler while she was married to her ex-wife. It\u2019s not cool to make someone feel bad about it \u2014 it\u2019s just genetic material, it\u2019s not paternity.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cDid you hear the part where I say, \u2018I\u2019m not mad at him trying to help a couple start a family \u2026 in fact I find it to be admirable!\u2019\u201d she wrote. \u201cI would NEVER EVER demean anything about a woman\u2019s fertility.\u201d<\/p>\n Tyler addressed the paternity scandal on the season 7 reunion episode.<\/p>\n \u201cThose kids, that family, they did not sign up for this. So, what is happening now is I try to keep that from happening. Their birth certificates are online. Things that shouldn\u2019t be happening are now happening,\u201d the account manager stated. \u201cAnd to get into the story, I did help a friend and her wife start a family, but her wife ended up leaving her and left her high and dry.\u201d<\/p>\n He continued, \u201cThis was my very close friend. So I stepped in, voluntarily stepped in and helped. So there is pictures of me around. You\u2019ll see me around. I\u2019ve spent holidays with all my friends, you know, all their kids.
