As fans are still reeling over Matt James<\/strong> <\/a>and Rachael Kirkconnell<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s split, Us<\/em> couldn\u2019t help but wonder if they could hand out (or accept) roses again one day.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think it\u2019s open,\u201d host Jesse Palmer<\/strong><\/a> told Us Weekly<\/em> during an exclusive interview<\/a> about his partnership with Great Clips. \u201cFirst off, I was really sad to read that and see that as well. And I certainly hope they\u2019re both doing OK. This must be a really, really tough time for the two of them. And I know they want [and] are going to need time to process everything that happened.\u201d<\/p>\n

James, 33, announced on Thursday, January 16, that he and Kirkconnell, 28, had split. He used a photo from season 25 of The Bachelor<\/em> \u2013 where they met four years ago \u2014 for his headline-making announcement post.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think the last thing they wanted to think about is rushing back into the show,\u201d Palmer continued. \u201cThese decisions go way above my head.I absolutely think, though, that the show would consider having one or both back at some point down the road if they were open to it. Absolutely.\u201d<\/p>\n

Give us a peace about this decision to end our relationship that transcends worldly understanding,\u201d James, 33, wrote via Instagram alongside a photo of [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

While Kirkconnell and James are the latest split to rock Bachelor Nation, the most recent season of the show \u2014 The Golden Bachelorette season 1 starring Joan Vassos<\/strong><\/a> \u2014 ended with an engagement.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey\u2019re all over,\u201d Palmer told Us<\/em> when asked about Vassos and fianc\u00e9 Chock Chapple<\/strong><\/a>. \u201cThey\u2019re in New York and then they\u2019re visiting her family and they\u2019re back in Kansas and they\u2019re just all over the place. They\u2019re a very hard Bachelor couple to keep up with, in all honesty.\u201d<\/p>\n

Vassos, 62, and Chapple, 61, have said that they aren\u2019t in a rush to walk down the aisle.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut I know they\u2019re both very excited,\u201d Palmer continued. \u201cThey\u2019re enjoying each other\u2019s company. And listen, I certainly hope wedding bells are on the horizon sooner than later, but they\u2019ve earned this right to kind of have their time to enjoy each other and if they need an officiant, I know a guy.\u201d<\/p>\n

In the meantime, Palmer is gearing up for the premiere of Grant Ellis<\/strong>\u2019 season 29 of The Bachelor.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t want to speak on behalf of Grant, but I think he\u2019s very, very happy with how things ended,\u201d Palmer teased to Us<\/em>. \u201cI know he\u2019s really excited for everybody to watch this whole thing unfold. Grant\u2019s a very easy guy to root for. I\u2019m a fan of his and I know he\u2019s a guy that\u2019s been so successful in everything he\u2019s done in his life outside of love [so far].\u201d<\/p>\n
