\t\t<\/p>\n Sam Heughan<\/strong><\/a> is opening up about the differences of filming his two TV shows.<\/p>\n The 44-year-old actor is perhaps most well known for starring in the Starz<\/strong><\/a> series Outlander<\/strong><\/a><\/em>, which is a period piece, and he now currently stars in the contemporary new thriller series, The Couple Next Door<\/a><\/em>, which also airs on the same network.<\/p>\n In a recent interview, Sam<\/strong> compared what it\u2019s like filming the two very different shows and talked about the differences between them.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cIt was just a joy to do something completely different,\u201d he told Entertainment Weekly<\/a><\/em>. \u201cIt was less time in the makeup chair \u2014 and throwing on a T-shirt and jeans is a lot more comfortable than the traditional kilt or jerkin that I normally wear. They each have their merits of course, and it is fun to do historical, but this was definitely a welcome change.\u201d<\/p>\n While season seven of Outlander<\/em> just ended, Sam<\/strong> isn\u2019t leaving TV screens as The Couple Next Door<\/em> just debuted and you can watch new episodes on Fridays at 9pm ET\/PT on Starz in the US and Canada.<\/p>\n <\/span><\/p><\/div>\n
