Glenn Close doesn’t feel at home in Hollywood<\/p>\n
The 77-year-old actress has starred on stage and screen for more than five decades, but Glenn still doesn’t feel like she truly belongs in Hollywood circles.<\/p>\n
She told ‘Today’: “I still feel like I\u2019m an outsider.<\/p>\n
“I still feel there\u2019s caverns of the unknown in me and I\u2019m still waiting for the roles that demand everything \u2018cause they\u2019re few and far between.”<\/p>\n
Glenn stars alongside Cameron Diaz and Jamie Foxx in the new Netflix movie ‘Back in Action’, and she relished the experience of working with them both.<\/p>\n
\nThe veteran actress shared: “It\u2019s very important who you spend your time with, you know? It\u2019s just as important as what\u2019s written on the page, is who you leave home for. That\u2019s the way I look at it. Life\u2019s too short.”<\/p>\n
\nGlenn played a psychotic ex-lover in 1987’s ‘Fatal Attraction’, and she regards the movie as a turning point in her career.<\/p>\n
\nThe actress explained that the public came to see her in a new light after the film was released.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: “I think it was the first time people realised I could be sexy.”<\/p>\n
\nGlenn has never felt comfortable with the idea of living in Hollywood, and she’s now surrounded by her family in Montana.<\/p>\n
\nThe movie star previously told Glamour magazine: “I\u2019ve never felt that I could live in Hollywood, because I think I\u2019ve just envisioned myself kind of shrivelling up, or never even going out of my house. That I didn\u2019t have a wardrobe for it or something. But I had the wardrobe for the Village in New York. So I just basically stayed in territories that I felt comfortable in.<\/p>\n
\n“And now I\u2019m living full-time in Montana, having my entire family here, which is unbelievable, that it\u2019s worked out this way. So I feel like I do my work and then I just come home.”<\/p>\n
