\t\t<\/p>\n The Brutalist<\/strong><\/a><\/em> has been facing backlash recently after it was revealed they used AI.<\/p>\n Editor D\u00e1vid Jancs\u00f3<\/strong> revealed in an interview that AI tools were used<\/a> to improve the authenticity of the Hungarian dialogue of Adrien Brody<\/strong><\/a> and Felicity Jones<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n Now, the film\u2019s director, Brady Corbet<\/strong><\/a>, is speaking out and defending the use of AI in the movie and commended the stars\u2019 performances. <\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cAdrien<\/strong> and Felicity<\/strong>\u2019s performances are completely their own,\u201d Brady<\/strong> shared, via Variety<\/a><\/em>. \u201cThey worked for months with dialect coach Tanera Marshall<\/strong> to perfect their accents. Innovative Respeecher technology was used in Hungarian language dialogue editing only, specifically to refine certain vowels and letters for accuracy. No English language was changed. This was a manual process, done by our sound team and Respeecher in post-production. The aim was to preserve the authenticity of Adrien<\/strong> and Felicity<\/strong>\u2019s performances in another language, not to replace or alter them and done with the utmost respect for the craft.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cJudy Becker<\/strong> and her team did not use AI to create or render any of the buildings,\u201d he continued. \u201cAll images were hand-drawn by artists. To clarify, in the memorial video featured in the background of a shot, our editorial team created pictures intentionally designed to look like poor digital renderings circa 1980.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThe Brutalist<\/em> is a film about human complexity, and every aspect of its creation was driven by human effort, creativity, and collaboration. We are incredibly proud of our team and what they\u2019ve accomplished here,\u201d Brady <\/strong>concluded.<\/p>\n The Brutalist<\/em> has been nominated for many awards, including acting noms for both Adrien<\/strong> and Feclicity<\/strong>, and Best Picture awards.
