\t\t<\/p>\n Tyra Banks<\/strong><\/a> is one of many who lost their home to one of the recent fires in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n The 51-year-old model revealed the news during an interview on the Australian morning news show, Sunrise<\/em>. <\/p>\n In the interview, she said she didn\u2019t want to pull attention from others who lost their homes, and she confirmed her and her family were in Australia when they found out their home was gone.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI lost my house. I haven\u2019t really talked about it, um, but yeah, I have,\u201d Tyra<\/strong> said on the news show<\/a>. \u201cI just didn\u2019t want to pull a lot of attention to me, I feel like there\u2019s a lot of people that need that attention so I haven\u2019t talked about it. But I can\u2019t sit here and not tell the truth that yeah, we lost our house.\u201d<\/p>\n One of the hosts then asked if she in Australia and how she learned her house was gone.<\/p>\n \u201cI was here\u2026 I don\u2019t remember, we were at a friends house here and we were celebrating, just having fun, and I just kept checking my phone,\u201d she said. \u201cNot for my house, but just for friends and family, just making sure they were evacuating and everything, and then I asked my partner [Louis B\u00e9langer-Martin<\/strong><\/a>]. I was like, \u2018I\u2019m seeing something here, what do you think?\u2019 And he said, [nods], and I just pulled it together and just didn\u2019t say anything to my friends, and just stayed in that moment.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThen we went home and we cried, and we had our moment,\u201d Tyra<\/strong> added.<\/p>\n She also noted that they mostly split their time between Australia and New York, so they didn\u2019t lose key mementos, but they did lose some. \u201cIt\u2019s tough,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n There have been quite a few celebs who lost their homes<\/a> to the devastating fires in the Los Angeles area.<\/p>\n Quite a few music artists are set to come together next week to raise funds to aid in relief efforts, including rebuilding communities and preventing future fire disasters.
