Steven Weber<\/strong> and Tim Daly<\/strong><\/a> no longer play TV brothers, but Weber would happily reunite with his former Wings<\/em> costar on Chicago Med<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Weber \u2014 who plays Dr. Dean Archer on the NBC drama<\/a> \u2014 already has an idea for a Chicago<\/em> Med<\/em> story line that would be both funny and embarrassing for Daly, 68.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt would be great if he came on as himself,\u201d Weber, 63, exclusively told Us Weekly<\/em> of Daly while promoting season 10 of Chicago Med<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The actor teased that in his dream scenario, Daly \u201csuddenly finds himself in Chicago and I\u2019ve got to operate on him. And he keeps saying, \u2018God, you remind me of somebody,\u2019\u201d hinting at their past connection.<\/p>\n

Weber joked that no matter who Daly played on a hypothetical Med<\/em> episode, his character, Dr. Archer, would \u201chave to give him some embarrassing operation, like, a colonoscopy.\u201d<\/p>\n

The One Chicago star noted, \u201cIt would be huge\u201d to get Daly to come onto the medical drama, noting that they had yet to discuss the possibility.<\/p>\n

Weber and Daly previously played brothers Brian Michael Hackett and Joe Montgomery Hackett, respectively, on Wings<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The comedy ran for eight seasons \u2014 from 1990 to 1997 \u2014 and centered around Brian and Joe as they tried to run an airline on the New England island of Nantucket. The cast also included Crystal Bernard<\/strong>, David Schramm<\/strong>, Rebecca Schull<\/strong>, Tony Shalhoub<\/strong> and Thomas Haden Church<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Weber previously revealed that there is a \u201cslim\u201d chance that he and Daly could reunite for a Wings<\/em> reunion on camera. \u201cWe\u2019re all around, so if the public really demands it [then, maybe],\u201d he teased during a March 2020 appearance on The Talk<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Weber explained at the time that he was just \u201cso grateful\u201d to still be a part of the acting industry. \u201cIf we never have some sort of reboot, that\u2019s fine. We did a good show and people love it,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

While Weber told Us<\/em> that he is all-in on Daly popping up on Chicago Med<\/em> at some point, he said there are a lot of other things to look forward to as season 10 continues.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere are more nuanced aspects to his staying on,\u201d Weber said of Archer\u2019s decision not to leave the Emergency Department after successfully saving Sharon Goodwin\u2019s (S. Epatha Merkerson<\/strong><\/a>) life during the midseason premiere earlier this month.<\/p>\n

The actor noted that even though Archer is staying on that doesn\u2019t mean it\u2019ll be smooth sailing. (Archer previously slid his resignation letter under Goodwin\u2019s door during the midseason finale in fall 2024<\/a>. At the time, he didn\u2019t know Goodwin had been stabbed by a stalker in her office and was fighting to stay alive.)<\/p>\n

\u201cThis incident really affects him, and it affects him emotionally down the line,\u201d Weber said, referring to Goodwin almost dying on his operating table.<\/p>\n

He added that while Archer\u2019s job is secure for now, he will have \u201csome surprises going forward\u201d in his personal life.<\/p>\n

Epatha Merkerson, who plays Sharon on the NBC drama, exclusively told Us Weekly that fans will \u201cabsolutely\u201d get more of Sharon and Dr. Dennis Washington\u2019s (John Earl Jelks) [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Weber told Us<\/em> that Archer\u2019s \u201cconnection\u201d to fellow doctor Hannah Asher (Jessy Schram<\/strong><\/a>) will also be a big part of season 10\u2019s remaining episodes.<\/p>\n
