SZA<\/strong> <\/a>revealed she is about to embark on a 10-day vow of silence in India as her debut movie One of Them Days<\/em> is released.<\/p>\n

The singer-songwriter (real name Sol\u00e1na Imani Rowe) shared her excitement about the film\u2019s release<\/a> before the vow of silence kicked off via an Instagram post<\/a> on Friday, January 17.<\/p>\n

\u201cMan listen. I\u2019m in India and they \u2018bout to take my phone in 7 hours for a 10 day vow of silence\ud83d\ude2d , but I COULD NOT MISS RELEASE DAY !!\u201d SZA, 35, wrote. \u201cI swear to God this was the most unique experience of my entire life!\u201d<\/p>\n

Referencing her producer Issa Rae<\/strong> and costar Keke Palmer<\/strong>, SZA added, \u201cWhen I signed on for this movie I literally didn\u2019t think a single thing through other than \u2018gaddamn I love Issa and Keke what an honor.\u2019 I didn\u2019t think of how I was actively on tour and wouldn\u2019t get to rehearse or prepare, I didn\u2019t think how I had a deluxe to finish or factor in that I actually had to be on camera at any point \ud83d\ude02\ud83d\ude2d (like duh, dummy.) That sounds insane but that\u2019s how much I love respect and admire these women !! NO THOUGHTS JUST YES.\u201d<\/p>\n

SZA went on to praise the rest of team involved, and emphasized how they put in so much hard work to achieve the finished product.<\/p>\n
