\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n HBO Max<\/strong><\/a> has announced the release date for Velma<\/em><\/strong><\/a>!<\/p>\n Here\u2019s a synopsis of the series: \u201cVelma is an adult animated comedy series telling the origin story of Velma Dinkley, the unsung and under appreciated brains of the Scooby-Doo Mystery Inc. gang. This original and humorous spin unmasks the complex and colorful past of one of America\u2019s most beloved mystery solvers.\u201d<\/p>\n Mindy Kaling<\/strong><\/a> will provide the voice of the title character, as well as executive produce the show.<\/p>\n Constance Wu<\/strong><\/a>, Glenn Howerton<\/strong><\/a> and Sam Richardson<\/strong><\/a> round out the Mystery Inc gang, with Jane Lynch<\/strong><\/a>, Wanda Sykes<\/strong><\/a>, Weird Al Yankovic<\/strong><\/a>, Ming-Na Wen<\/strong><\/a>, and Yvonne Orji<\/strong><\/a> also providing voices throughout the show.<\/p>\n In a new release from HBO Max, the streamer revealed that Velma <\/em>will debut on Thursday, January 12.<\/p>\n If you didn\u2019t see, check out the teaser below!<\/p>\n \n
