There\u2019s no doubt that Travis Kelce<\/strong><\/a> is in love with Taylor Swift<\/a>,<\/strong> and the NFL star is happy to have her around after her iconic Eras tour<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cMe and Taylor are happy,\u201d Travis, 35, said during an appearance on The Stephen A. Smith Show<\/em><\/a> on Wednesday, January 15. \u201cI couldn\u2019t be happier to have that confidence and that comfort off the field and all the support I could ever ask for in the stadium, man.\u201d<\/p>\n Stephen, 57, admitted that he had never listened to Taylor\u2019s music<\/a> before, but he\u2019s definitely a fan after attending one of her shows. The sports commentator even went as far as to say that it was the \u201cgreatest concert\u201d he had ever been to \u201cin his life.\u201d<\/p>\n Stephen said his daughters \u201choodwinked\u201d him into taking 10 of their friends and spent $20,000 on tickets, but Travis was quick to point out that the cost of those tickets were \u201cresale.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI was thinking, \u2018This better be worth it!\u2019\u201d Stephen continued. \u201cBut I gotta admit, it was so damn good, I went back twice.\u201d<\/p>\n When the Kansas City Chiefs tight end asked if Taylor, 35, had Stephen \u201csinging along the second time,\u201d Stephen pointed out, \u201cAnd dancing!\u201d<\/p>\n Travis went on to say that his relationship with Taylor had given him a boost in all aspects of his life.<\/p>\n \u201cI think, personally, that\u2019s the beauty of being in a very strong relationship. You get that support to be able to come in and focus on your craft, focus on being the best version of you. You know, that\u2019s why I wanted to be at the concerts supporting her and being there for her and making sure she feels comfortable and supported in everything she\u2019s doing in life,\u201d the three-time Super Bowl champ explained. \u201cI think I\u2019m as focused as I\u2019ve ever been on my job and being the best player that I could possibly be week in and week out for this team. You know, it\u2019s because I don\u2019t have to worry about things off the field.\u201d<\/p>\n The Straight Shooter<\/em> author recalled that some fans felt like Travis wasn\u2019t in peak physical condition when he started the season and blamed that on all the time he spent supporting Taylor during the Eras tour.<\/p>\n \u201cThe first thing is, you have to be true to yourself,\u201d Travis replied. \u201cIf people are saying things, you have to be able to reflect and look at yourself and see why they are saying these things. I was still playing at a high level knowing all that had been said. We were winning football games, which is all I ever care about and [the Chiefs] knew how hard I worked and how much focus I have on football throughout the year. So, it\u2019s just what\u2019s true, what\u2019s real and how do we become better knowing that what I\u2019m putting out on the field may not have been my best or how do I keep getting better knowing the roles have changed a little bit.\u201d<\/p>\n Travis and the \u201cKarma\u201d singer sparked relationship rumors in the summer of 2023, and by that fall, the two had officially confirmed they were together.
