\t\t<\/p>\n Joe Alwyn<\/strong><\/a> marked a first time appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers<\/em><\/strong> this week!<\/p>\n The 33-year-old actor went on the show to promote his latest movie The Brutalist<\/strong><\/a><\/em>, and it was his first late night talk show ever. <\/p>\n While on the show, Joe<\/strong> made a joke about why he was cast as his character, Harry Lee Van Buren.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cThe story is about a Hungarian immigrant, who Adrien [Brody]<\/strong><\/a> plays, who flees to America after the war,\u201d Joe<\/strong> explained. \u201cAnd he\u2019s taken in by this big American aristocratic family who commissioned him for a job to build a monument, and things go south. And I play Harry, who\u2019s the son of this family.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cAnd he\u2019s there to oversee parts of the commission, and he\u2019s, yeah, he\u2019s slimy and entitled and a bit of a menace and has some daddy issues, and, so, yeah, they came to me,\u201d he added, ending with a smile.<\/p>\n Also on the show, Joe<\/strong> talked about the movie having a built-in intermission and the difference about watching movies in US theaters vs the UK.
