\t\t<\/p>\n Gerard Butler<\/strong><\/a> opened up about his transformation for the live-action How to Train Your Dragon<\/em> movie, and he did not enjoy one aspect of it.<\/p>\n The 55-year-old actor is reprising the role of Stoick the Vast, which he originated onscreen in the animated movies.<\/p>\n In a new interview, Gerard<\/strong> explained which part of his transformation was \u201chell.\u201d <\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Speaking to ET<\/a>, Gerard<\/strong> said that \u201cit was incredible\u201d to revisit the How to Train Your Dragon<\/em> franchise in a new way. \u201cI\u2019d always wondered, seeing the animated version what would it be like to be that size? Be that character and to live,\u201d he added. <\/p>\n Gerard<\/strong> was asked if he had grown Stoik\u2019s massive beard, and he said that was not the case. <\/p>\n \u201cThat was like five pieces of hell,\u201d he said. \u201cThat was a good three and a half hours just to be ready.\u201d <\/p>\n The actor previously revealed another unique challenge<\/a> that came with playing the character in the new movie.<\/p>\n How to Train Your Dragon<\/em> premieres in theaters on June 13, 2025.
